When discussing Marco’s best of the best seafood restaurants, there are a few restaurant names that are frequently mentioned, and The Oyster Society is always one of them.

It is frequently ranked as one of the greatest seafood restaurants on Marco Island and is a sister restaurant to Marco Prime, which is located immediately next door.

The interior of The Oyster Society is what you’ll notice right away. There is no place like it, with its stunning decor, huge bar, and mirror wall.

This restaurant, which offers both indoor and outdoor eating, is a great spot to unwind after a long, exhausting day. If you can’t decide what to start with, you could get the Chef’s Dozen, which is the Chef’s Daily Selection of four oyster varietals, accompanied by unique daily sauces.

Or, if you’re with a group of friends, get the Oceanic Platter and combine that with some Italian white wine. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed while at this Marco Island seafood restaurant.

Kretch’s Restaurant

527 Bald Eagle Dr., Marco Island, FL 34145, United States +12393943433

On Marco Island, there is a hidden gem called Kretch’s Restaurant that, in my opinion, is underappreciated. You can always tell that every meal was prepared with great care because the seafood around here is always so fresh.

Their shrimp cocktail is amazing, and, as one of my favorite kinds of seafood, the steamed mussels here are so good they melt in your mouth.

They prepare them by steaming them in garlic and white wine butter sauce, with garlic bread on the side. Who doesn’t love garlic bread?

Our next seafood dining on Marco Island destination is an old favorite and a new destination.

They left their old spot and reopened recently. Like the last location, the decor is familiar. The bar and high-top tables are immediately visible when you enter.

There is new outdoor seating to the left. The main dining room is far to the right.

You can’t go wrong with some calamari and shrimp cocktails, but my personal favorite is the Seared Tuna Nachos with sushi grade Ahi tuna rolled in sesame seeds, ginger root, and cracked black pepper.

The tuna is seared rare, cubed, and served over seaweed salad and wonton chips, topped with ginger and scallions, then drizzled with wasabi mayo and sesame garlic sauce.
