The 8 Best Mexican Restaurants in Bellevue

Cielo Cocina Mexicana

958 111th Ave. NE #101, Bellevue, WA 98004, United States  +14254498869

I remembered the day when we went to Cielo Cocina Mexican restaurant in Bellevue. It was a hot day, and we were dying for a beer. It was a great decision since this place has a casual bar where you can have a beer or fresh margaritas that will bring joy on a complicated day.

Cielo Cocina Mexicana has people that will make you feel at home, even though this place has no specific vibes. It gives you a feeling like you are in some bar in New York City.

For the first hour, we sat there drinking beer and margaritas, depending on the person. Personally, I am a huge fan of margaritas, even though this place also offers a variety of draft beers.

Later, we moved to the dining room to have dinner. We ordered Baja Tacos with beer-battered cod, something new for me, and Tacos Carne Asada with grilled skirt steak served with plenty of lime and salsa verde.

The dining room is family-friendly and gives a casual atmosphere. Of course, you sit at the outdoor patios as well, which are really large and lovely.

If you are a fan of soups, we recommend having Tortilla Soup combined with Grilled Chicken Salad. For appetizers,  you can have Nachos and Quesadillas, always the right choice when you are in a Mexican restaurant in Bellevue or anywhere else.

There is a rule when you are visiting a Mexican restaurant. No matter how full you are, you find a space in your stomach for a burrito.

As per our suggestion, you can have a Burrito Box or Fajita Burrito. Very tasty.

We really liked Cielo Cocina Mexicana; very tasty food, fresh, made with quality ingredients. And you will not have problems with parking spots.

Cactus Bellevue Square

535 Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA 98004, United States  +14254554321

There are places that grab your attention at once, and you know you will always belong at that place. Memories will linger in your head, and you will always have a smile on your face.

One of those places is Cactus Bellevue Square Mexican restaurant.

It is unbelievable how great cocktails are made here. Cocktails are fresh, hand-crafted, and contain notes of different flavors.

In Cactus Bellevue Square, you will find delicious food made by the influence of the cuisines of the American Southwest and Mexico. The food is authentic and will transfer to the hot, spicy, and exciting world of Mexican cuisine.

For appetizers, we had chips and salsa, traditional guacamole, and tapas, and it was a great beginning of the night.

The restaurant’s Carne Asada reminds me why I love Mexican food so much. I love spicy ancho chile salsa with grilled onion, homemade corn tortillas, and skirt steak.

We also recommend Pablo’s special Gluten free Burrito Bowl for all lovers of non-gluten products.

Of course, you can always order Enchiladas and enjoy the taste of Spanish rice and cumin black beans.

We had such a great experience here. We recommend this place to come with your friend for brunch, lunch, or dinner in a very beautiful ambiance.

Make yourself feel adventurous in Cactus Bellevue Square.

Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

3720 Factoria Blvd. SE C, Bellevue, WA 98006, United States +14253730855

Tapatio Mexican Restaurant is located in the heart of Factoria Village. This is a family Mexican restaurant with delicious food and great service.

When we arrived at Tapatio Mexican Restaurant, the thing I loved most was the Mexican vibes this restaurant brought, playing traditional Mexican music. In this restaurant, you will find authentic decor, paintings, chairs, tables, walls, and everything designed in Mexican style.

And when it comes to food, it is the same. A real, original Mexican food.

We had vegetarian spinach enchiladas and bean chimichanga served with beans and rice. Of course, we ordered margaritas to increase the feeling that we were in Mexico and enjoying life. They were delicious and very strong, served in a huge goblet-like glass.

I will mention fish tacos, too, as another dish that impressed me, together with the quesadillas and molcajete.

In the end, all I can say is that they make the best enchilada.

The time we had here was really nice, and all the food surprised us and made us promise that we would come again if we revisited this area.

El Maestro del Taco

1836 156th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA 98007, United States  +14252407708

I was attracted by the place’s name, and I expected to find a really good taco. And now, when I am writing this list of the best Mexican restaurants in Bellevue, I am happy that El Maestro del Taco is part of this list.

They have very good carne tacos, and they stood out for us. We really liked them, and after we left the restaurant, we couldn’t stop talking about tacos.

We also like the cheese quesadilla and the pollo

We met wonderful people here, true experts in Mexican food in Bellevue.

We managed to try their burrito too. Their burrito has the same amazing taste; it just melts in the mouth.

El Maestro del Taco Burrito

Everything was perfect. We expected to find great tacos, and we were not disappointed.  We got carnitas, carne asada, chicken, and adobado.

We recommend visiting this Bellevue Mexican restaurant. You won’t regret it. I sure don’t.

Ricardo’s Restaurant

4065 Factoria Blvd. SE, Bellevue, WA 98006, United States  +14256435585

Ricardo’s Restaurant is an interesting Bellevue Mexican restaurant with high quality, tasty homemade food and a high standard of serving and presenting the food.

If you visit this restaurant in Bellevue, you will have a chance to consume authentic Mexican food in a classic Mexican/American restaurant.

I had a very good chicken chimichanga. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the guacamole topping was fantastic. Our suggestion is to share portions since they are really big, in order to try more dishes that this restaurant offers.

You can’t miss trying the chips and salsa. The salsa had a kick which was really interesting. We had a really great time here, with great enchiladas with mole. It was sweet and exceeded my expectations.

Taqueria Guadalajara

2421 148th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA 98007, United States

Taqueria Guadalajara might not be the perfect place for your romantic night, but it will make you very happy with its food.

This place has a specific and nice ambiance, considering it is a stationary taco truck in a gas station lot. Personally,  I paid attention to this place because of the location and because of the fact that it is always busy.

People come here hungry, and they leave happy and, in the worst case, fat. The food is really, really good.

We ordered Cabeza, Asada, and Carnita Tacos. The dishes contain raw onions, cilantro, and sauce. The Cabeza and asada were preferred, as it was juicy and had great texture. I got the green and red chili sauces, and they were the bomb. The carnitas were great too.

The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I have to say that, overall, it was a great experience and great Mexican food.

La Chingona Taqueria Bellevue

29 148th Ave. SE, Bellevue, WA 98007, United States   +14254425350

La Chingona Taqueria Bellevue is a cute place with a great ambiance and personal service that will embrace you as a part of the family, delivering excellent food and welcoming vibes.

We ate a lot of tacos here, celebrating the taste of Mexican culture and the flavor of every taco. I can’t forget the shrimp tacos; for me, this was outstanding, but I have to mention that the horchata is delicious too.

We came here for a casual lunch, and we had an experience that we will never forget. When it comes to restaurants, the food is the primary factor for visiting a place, but the one that first seduces me is the ambiance and the place itself. This cute and fun taco truck named La Chingona Taqueria Bellevue will deliver a comfortable meal in a colorful environment, surrounded by great people, funny murals,  and violet flowers.

For all vegetarians, this place has magnificent veggie tacos with potatoes which are soft and tasty and come with onions and spinach.

That day we were in the mood for chicken, and we ordered chicken tacos that had well-marinated chicken and onions.

We highly recommend this Bellevue Mexican restaurant with beautiful decorations, great music, excellent customer service, and exquisite food.

We absolutely loved this traditional place, especially its huge and delicious tacos, Baja fish tacos, mild and spicy salsa, and the feeling that it gave us while we were eating there.

Thank you, Chingona Taqueria Bellevue.

Taqueria Los Tetillas

13555 SE 36th St., Bellevue, WA 98006, United States +14252293876

I love casual places, simple but charming and engaging. That’s why I loved Taqueria Los Tetillas. This Bellevue Mexican restaurant is a cute place where you can sit outdoors in a lovely open-air setting, eating tacos, burritos, and tortas served in a conducive way, featuring warm greetings.

This interesting restaurant has an extensive menu and many meat options.  We ordered the Taco Plate and a Fajitas plate, and we were impressed by the taste of all ingredients, such as onions, tomatoes, beans, sliced radishes, and corn tortillas.

We also recommend their Carne Asada Plate and Chicken Mole with shredded chicken simmered in red mole sauce.

Prepare your budget here properly because everything here is on point. We managed to try Burrito Mojado, Big Burrito, and Taco Salad. I decided to stick to my guns and not order more, but friends convinced me to split the Tetillas Burger and don’t regret it.

We had such a lovely time in Taqueria Los Tetillas, and we recommend it if you travel and want to visit a Mexican restaurant in Bellevue.

I will never forget the orange truck and its tasty Mexican Dishes.
