It is a warm, casual restaurant serving vegetarian and vegan curries alongside tandoori bread and rice dishes. We personally liked it a lot,  starting from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

I really like perfect North Indian-style food, creamy and not too spicy. I had fresh Samosas and also Shahi paneer, which was really good. The accompanying Mint chutney also was something that had my full attention.

If you love spicy Punjabi cuisine, then the Taj Palace of India is your ideal Indian restaurant in Bellevue.

Sitting in a nice ambiance, we tried the popular native dish, Chicken Biryani, with mixed rice, vegetables, and a curry sauce. You reach the complete level of enjoyment with a side dish of white rice.

Chicken Biryani

This place will offer you great Indian food featuring traditional dishes, as well as fast and friendly service. You will meet friendly people. We will never forget the warm welcome we had upon our arrival. Everyone is courteous and smiling.

The menu this restaurant has is extensive, with a choice of regular or vegetarian entrees.

There are pre-dinner snacks and a self-service buffet with a few options.  Our group loves spicy food, but if you are a fan of mild food, it may be too hot for you.

There was a good selection of the usual dishes, including lamb, goat, and chicken curries. There were even mushroom and other bean curries if you’re looking for vegetarian options.

We really enjoyed Mango Chicken and Chili Pakora, which pair perfectly with chai or white wine. Look no further; this is where you want to eat.

While enjoying the nice decor that transports you directly to India, we enjoyed the juicy taste of Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. It was all about the chicken.

We decided to try something else, so we tried Seafood Curry and Spinach Naan, which were excellent and met our needs for some other food dimension.

Our group’s overall experience was really great. I will definitely be going back and recommending this Bellevue Indian restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food.

If you are a fan of meat, and meat typically occupies your plate, then Simply Indian Restaurant in Bellevue is the right place for you.

We came to this conclusion when we had Goat Curry and Chicken Curry, both of which are meat-based.

Goat Curry

Another great feature of this restaurant is that they use a lot of curry in the dishes, making the dishes really spicy and authentic Indian.

This place will earn your respect with the kind people who treat its visitors. We had excellent customer service with a dedication to our needs and preferences, especially about the veggie options for my friends.

I liked the Chicken Biryani; it was like I imagined it.  It was well prepared with spices. Also, we had Onion Samosas, salty and spicy with interesting flavors.

The Chicken Manchurian was rated very good, with the chicken soft and tender and having an authentic taste.

Anjappar Seattle Indian Restaurant

We walked into this warmly decorated Bellevue Indian restaurant, and we were attracted by the smells and visually attractive dishes on the tables surrounding us.

This is a south Indian fare, including dosas and curry, and it was a really amazing experience for our group.

My friend said that he was sad that he didn’t have this restaurant close to him, but that is one more reason why we should visit Bellevue again.

My favorite dish was Mutton kothu. It was pretty delicious. My friend liked the Anjapper food

I was very much in the mood for quality South Indian food, and here you will find a good variety of South Indian food with the proper spice levels.

Service is quick and outstanding. Another reason that I found this place likable is that there are many available parking places.

We had a really great dining experience, and our favorites here were Egg Veechu Parotta, Podi Idli, and Karaikudi Chicken.

And not to forget the Indian chai.

We will definitely visit again to try other tasty dishes on the menu. It’s worth every penny!

Chutneys

City Square App, 938 110th Ave. NE #5, Bellevue, WA 98004, United States   +14254670867

We had an unforgettable experience in Chutneys, an experience that is hard to explain with words.

As we walked into this pleasant Bellevue restaurant, my nose was assailed by all manner of traditional Indian spices.

We are happy to say that we got prompt and quick service and authentic Indian food, which were our goals for that night. Everything was going smoothly in the space of this restaurant with soft, ethnic music.

We had an intimate experience in a low-lighting ambiance with a great drink and great food.

This restaurant is well-known for its traditional Indian food with a modern twist. A dish that makes this place very popular is the Tandoori Chicken, made with oil, spices, and yogurt blended with boneless chicken.

Tandoori Chicken

Our other choice was Garlic Naan and rice dishes with vegetables.

The Vada Pav was very good. I would highly recommend it if you want to have tasty Indian food. The Handi Biryani is authentic and comes in a pot sealed by a flour roti.

My friend ordered the Goat Curry, and he had a perfect experience. And Kadai Paneer is a dish that shows the talent of the cooks, and this place has very talented people.

So if you are planning a trip to Bellevue, do not skip this place. It is a place that will be your invisible hand to the world of spices and amazing tastes, the world of spiritual India.

Bhojan Xpress

1105 Bellevue Way NE A4, Bellevue, WA 98004, United States  +14254550807

Bhojan Xpress is a nice Indian restaurant in Bellevue where you will eat food that will connect you to a unique dining culture.

Our experience here is something that should be retold many times because everything was exceptionally good.  At Bhojan, you will find simple, basic food with modern additions, perfect for a new, adventurous approach toward food.

All dishes we had here were prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. You will enjoy the dishes with rice in any form, prepared to celebrate the rice culture, the climate, and the landscape in the best possible way.

The Paneer Masala dosa I ordered was insane and mouth-watering.  I could eat that with the spicy coconut chutney every day of my life. The Curries are also on point, so we liked getting a combo of both.

Paneer Masala

Mango lassi should be your choice too. It is tasty and different. Ghee Roast Podi Dosa is outstanding based on the input from the group! It’s a must-try for all food lovers and vegetarians.  I tried their vegetable Biryani and Gobi Manchurian on a prior visit; both taste good and have a significant quantity.

We highly recommend this restaurant based on the optimal spice level in its delicious dishes!

Namasthe Indian Restaurant

15920 NE 8th St. Suite# 2-3, Bellevue, WA 98008, United States  +14253333336

Shortly after our arrival, we started with the appetizers that showed us that we were going to have a great night.

For appetizers, we had Chicken lollipops, Fried peppers, and a few other fried items were also there. I liked the fried spicy peppers!

Chicken lollipops

We recognize the diversity this restaurant has by using and implementing many spices, vegetables, grains, and fruits grown across India.

I ordered Goat Biryani, which is a mandatory dish in every Indian restaurant.  The Goat Biryani here is very flavorful. The rice was perfect, and so was the meat, served with perfect heat.

Even tastier is the Chicken dum biryani. The rice was so flavorful! And spicy.

And not everyone eats meat, so we ordered Vegetable Biryani. This has a lot of veggies and has a pleasant,  sour taste to it.

But our favorite dish was Goat curry. It was so spicy and good. You can choose your spice levels.

We plan to visit this place again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking friendly service and excellent Indian cuisine in Bellevue.

India Gate Restaurant

3080 148th Ave. SE Suite 102, Bellevue, WA 98007, United States  +14257471075

We have such pleasant memories of India Gate Restaurant.

We tried several outstanding dishes from the Indian cuisine in a cozy dining experience crafted with particular attention to every aspect of the food, drinks, ambiance, and service, all of which were outstanding.

The world of the India Gate you will experience through the interesting meals this restaurant has is truly exceptional.

I especially liked Garlic Naan; it was so good.

But the dishes I die for are Keema Naan, Mushroom Pakora, and Chicken Tikka. I cannot say enough good things about their Chicken Pakora or Buttered Chicken.  Therefore, I added those dishes to my favorite list, even based on a small sampling of each as well.

Chicken Tikka

Perfect spice blends, portions were generous, and the facility was so clean!

I would highly recommend dining here if you enjoy Indian food or would like to try it for the first time. You won’t be disappointed.
