Listen up, BBQ lovers – I’ve got the inside scoop on a seriously excellent BBQ spot in Oceanside. That Boy Good is where it’s at if you’re craving some finger-licking good BBQ.
Now, fair warning – finding this place can be a bit of a challenge. It’s actually located inside a brewery, but you won’t see any signs advertising That Boy Good on the building. But trust me, it’s worth the effort to find it.
Stepping inside, you’ll be welcomed with some extremely welcoming vibes. The crew, led by owner Kim, is a hoot and will make you feel like a family member. What about the food? The food is absolutely delicious.
Their ribs are tender and flavorful, and the brisket is no slouch, either. In my opinion, it could have used a little more smokey awesomeness, but I’m not complaining.
The sides – beans and cornbread – were just okay, but who cares when the BBQ is this good? Plus, there’s a fully-stocked bar on hand to help wash down all that meaty goodness.
So, if you’re in the mood for some mouthwatering BBQ, don’t miss out on That Boy Good. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, but trust me – it’s totally worth it.

The rib meat fell off the bone, and the ribs were mouthwatering. We also got one pound of brisket, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny.
Oh, and did I mention the sides? Although they weren’t the star of the show, they were still pretty good. And their BBQ sauce was the perfect finishing touch.

I also stumbled upon Enzo’s BBQ Ale House, and let me tell you, this spot is fire! Located in North County, Enzo’s casual eatery offers BBQ staples, flatbreads, craft drafts, and sandwiches in a colorful and vibrant space.
Enzo, the man behind this amazing joint, hails from the small town of Bagheria, located in Sicily within the Province of Palermo.
And let me tell you, this guy knows how to put some serious flavor into his dishes! Not only that, but Enzo’s team can cater your next event, making it customized to your tastes and providing the best experience possible for you and your friends. How cool is that?

And boy, oh boy, they did not disappoint! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the brisket was juicy, and the pulled pork was bursting with flavor.
The combo comes with two sides, BBQ Beans and Cole Slaw, plus Cornbread, which I was so excited to see as I absolutely love Cornbread with my BBQ. And let me tell you, the cornbread was nice and warm and oh-so-tasty.
I also added some Mac N’ Cheese to my sides because why not? And to wash it all down, I went for a nice cold Heff beer, which was the perfect complement to my meaty feast.

This little gem is called KM BBQ, and let me tell you, it’s an excellent spot for Korean BBQ in Oceanside that won’t break the bank.
Not to mention, the service and servers are attentive and super friendly, making it a perfect spot for a family outing.
What I loved about this place was that you could select from a wide variety of meats and seafood items, along with vegetables in a refrigerated buffet arrangement. No waiting for your order to arrive; just grab what you want and enjoy your meal.
And the best part? You get a much better selection of fresh vegetables, including broccoli, multiple types of peppers, onions, mushrooms, and more; choices that you don’t often find at traditional Korean BBQ joints.
This spot is perfect for those looking for a healthy, keto-friendly, low-carb, or gluten-free meal. The presentation is simple and straightforward, but the quality and variety of food are where the value truly lies.
The service for items not on the buffet, such as drinks, is attentive and very welcoming.
I also loved the convenience of the buffet-style service – you never have to worry about ordering too much or too little. Craving just three more pieces of pork belly? No problem, just go grab three!
Although you may find more extensive selections at other Korean BBQ spots, the simple convenience of serving yourself at KM BBQ more than makes up for it.
Plus, everything was very clean and well-lit, making it a cozy spot for a family night out or a fun date night.
Overall, if you’re looking for a delicious, affordable, and fuss-free Korean BBQ experience, KM BBQ in Oceanside is definitely worth checking out!

Oh man, let me tell you about SONU BBQ in Oceanside. This place blew my mind! It’s hands down the best Korean BBQ I’ve ever had – and I’ve even been to some restaurants in Korea!
One thing that sets SONU BBQ apart from the rest is the quality of its meats. Instead of throwing a bunch of frozen meats on the grill like other all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots, they carefully select and marinate each piece of meat to perfection. You can taste the difference in every bite.
To eat, we got the brisket, sliced marinated beef (bulgogi), pork belly, shrimp, and some vegetables. I must say that everything was delicious, especially the brisket, which we had several helpings of.
But the sides were just as impressive. They had an excellent selection to break up the meat and keep us wanting more. And let me just say, the service was top-notch.
The staff was incredibly attentive, always asking if we wanted more meat or if they could replace our grills. It’s little things like this that really makes the dining experience stand out.
I’ve been to SONU BBQ a few times now and have never been disappointed. The staff is always respectful and polite, and the food is absolutely to die for.
I can’t recommend this place enough – once you try it, you’ll be hooked!

Walking in, I immediately fell in love with the decor. The restaurant is clean, beautifully decorated, and has really great energy that makes you feel right at home.
Plus, for all the beer lovers out there, they have a fantastic selection on tap.
When it came time to order, I decided to try something called the “Maga Lahi,” which was a plate of BBQ chicken, pork ribs, chicken kelaguen, and one empanada paired with rice and a green salad.
Let me tell you, every single item on that plate was finger-licking good.
I couldn’t resist trying a bite of my friend’s Guam Bomb, a delicious plate of homemade fries topped with barbecued chicken, grilled onions, melted cheese, BBQ sauce, and spicy mayo. It was amazing!
But we didn’t stop there. We couldn’t resist trying their Banana Donuts for dessert, and they did not disappoint. They were the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
I highly recommend Guahan Grill to anyone looking for a memorable and unique dining experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and professional, and the food is absolutely delicious.
