One of the most amazing restaurants we visited in Reno was the Wok Chinese Cuisine, a hidden gem that proves that this cuisine is very impressive in the heart of Reno.
Wok Chinese Cuisine is a casual Chinese restaurant located in the Silverado Shopping Center.
This place offers generous portions, friendly and efficient service, and a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
I started with their Crab Rangoon appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and filled with a creamy and flavorful crab mixture.
For the main course, we opted for their Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. Both dishes were well-seasoned and had a nice balance of flavors—spicy, savory, and slightly sweet. The portion sizes were generous, making it great for sharing or leftovers.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed their extremely delicious walnut shrimp, seafood noodles, and fried rice.
But the ultimate highlight of the visit? Boiled fish with pickled veggies. It was a simple but flavorful dish. The fish is boiled until it is flaky and tender, and then it is served with a variety of pickled vegetables, such as cucumbers, onions, and carrots. It was really tasty.

We were told very interesting stories about all the achievements this restaurant has, its history, and its struggle to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Reno.
The restaurant has been serving Reno for over 20 years and is known for its Peking duck.
The menu at Chinese Duck House features a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including Peking duck, roast duck, and dim sum.
Appetizers include spring rolls, dumplings, and wontons. Entrees include chow mein, lo mein, and fried rice. There are also a variety of seafood, chicken, and beef dishes.
They have the biggest, tastiest egg rolls here, like a burrito.
The orange chicken was great, had a satisfying succulent flavor, and was an appealing, sweet and savory dish that was both flavorful and satisfying. The crispy chicken is perfectly complemented by the tangy and sweet orange sauce.
The service at Chinese Duck House is friendly and attentive. The staff is always happy to answer questions and make recommendations.

I also ordered the Ma Po Tofu and it was amazing. It was a spicy dish, but the level of spiciness can be adjusted to taste. I add additional chili peppers to the dish to make it spicier. It was perfect.
