Frankie’s Uptown – A Neighborhood Bar

This is one of my favorite neighborhood bars in Summerlin.  They have lovely patio seating. The atmosphere at Frankie’s Uptown is both welcoming and sophisticated, with dim lighting and cozy seating that makes you feel right at home.

The decor perfectly blends modern and classic, with a nod to traditional Italian bars.

I stopped in for the first time for a small bite and drink. Due to it being still happy hour, I had a few blackberry mimosas. They also had various different flavors.

We also ordered a brunch pizza with bacon and fried eggs. It was extraordinary.

Public School 702: Watermelon Mojito

We decided to get the loaded bacon tot as an appetizer. The spicy ketchup was delicious. The watermelon mojito was tart but good as a soft drink! I really enjoyed it.

The waitress was extremely attentive and upbeat! She was quite knowledgeable about the food and beverages, which was extremely helpful!

She would come by right on time to replenish our drinks, which could be a wait depending on where you are, or the waiter/waitress, so we both enjoyed how she kept things moving quickly.

Overall, we enjoyed the food and quality service! It’s a great hangout spot while shopping or hanging out in this downtown Summerlin bar.

To begin, they serve wonderful bread and butter, which I must say is some of the best bread we’ve ever had at any place.

They claimed it was some sort of Monk bread with salt on top and soft butter. It was unbelievable.

We then ordered oysters for an appetizer, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also had one of the finest crab cakes I’ve ever had.

We shared a Caesar salad large enough for two people, and the cooked egg yolk on top was delicious.

We decided to get a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon wine from their impressive and extensive wine list. It was perfectly paired with the delicious food and fantastic atmosphere.
