When we stepped into the city called Reno, we felt the high desert climate with four distinct seasons. From what we experienced, summers are generally warm, with plenty of sunshine. 

While we were there, we experienced a vibrant cultural scene with theaters, art galleries, and music venues. The city hosts several annual events and festivals, including the Reno Rodeo, Artown, and the Reno Air Races.

We enjoyed several outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, skiing, and water sports at Lake Tahoe, which is just a short drive away.

A classic Reno diner, the Gold ‘N Silver Inn has been serving hearty breakfasts for decades. We love hearing this story many times while we fill our bodies with positive energy and gratitude. 

You can find traditional breakfast items like pancakes, waffles, and eggs.

This place is small, a few blocks off the main drag, but very cozy and cute. My friend and I split the bacon and egg croissant with a side and still didn’t finish the meal. We chose home fries, and they were great with fresh onion and green pepper.

The spaghetti bowl was a hit during our second visit. The standout of the day was chicken fried steak; it was very good, proof of the cook’s expertise. 

For dessert, I ordered a Vanilla Malt during both visits. This is absolutely the best milkshake I have ever had.

This Reno breakfast restaurant has very good service, very clean, large dining area. Their place is about six blocks from Silver Legacy.

Gold ‘N Silver Inn is a classic Reno diner that has stood the test of time, and for good reason. We had an overall enjoyable experience.

If you want a place where breakfast can include a wide variety of foods, depending on cultural and personal preferences, do yourself a favor and visit this place. It has one of the best breakfast in Reno.

Cafe Central is a well-established restaurant in downtown Reno.

You will love this place because Cafe Central is a sophisticated and elegant dining choice in downtown Reno. It offers a refined atmosphere, a diverse menu with well-prepared dishes, and attentive service. 

We were thrilled with how much we enjoyed it there and how much the staff was trying to accommodate our needs.

When we went at night, we ordered wings, kung pao chicken, and shrimp pad Thai from the Asian side of the menu. Other times we had hash browns and steak and eggs.

This is a typical all-day restaurant with a diverse menu. It ranges from a cheeseburger to fettuccine Alfredo. This Italian pasta was heavenly good. The hallmark of Fettuccine Alfredo is its creamy, buttery, and velvety sauce. The sauce is made by combining heavy cream, unsalted butter, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. 

While consuming all these tasteful dishes, we enjoyed talking with our servers. They were energetic and helpful. Their energy really delivered and made the food taste much better. 

Whether you’re celebrating a special event or looking for a quiet and upscale dining experience, Cafe Central is a Reno restaurant that delivers on both taste and ambiance.

Two Chicks

Two Chicks is a modern Reno breakfast and brunch spot with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They offer a range of dishes, including gluten-free and vegan options. 

Two Chicks takes breakfast to the next level with a menu that combines creativity with high-quality ingredients.

I tried the Green Chile Benny, a unique twist on the classic eggs Benedict with green chile hollandaise sauce. The flavors were outstanding, and the portion size was just right. The menu also offers a variety of gluten-free and vegan options, catering to diverse dietary preferences. Service is fast and friendly.

The Eggs Benedict with sweet potato cottage fries also looked interesting, but I will save that for another time. 

My friend recommended having a Caprese sandwich with chicken and tomato soup. He said It was incredible, the best tomato soup ever.

Café Milano is a charming restaurant nestled in the heart of Reno, and my recent visit left me with a positive impression of this cozy dining establishment.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and inviting. With its dimly lit interior, rustic wooden accents, and soft background music, Café Milano creates a cozy and intimate ambiance. 

We recommend this place as an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a relaxed evening with friends and family. And we really had a relaxing, casual dinner with our friends.

Café Milano offers a diverse menu featuring Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. 

I started with the Caprese Salad, which showcased the freshness of the tomatoes and mozzarella.

For the main course, I ordered the Linguine with Clams, a delightful pasta dish with a garlic and white wine sauce that complemented the tender clams perfectly. The menu also includes options for vegetarians and meat lovers, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

And for myself, I selfishly choose to have Chocolate Brownie Train Wreck. It is a creative and indulgent dessert that combines several delicious elements to create a rich and decadent treat.

The Stone House Café is a hidden culinary gem in Reno, and my recent visit to this charming eatery left me thoroughly impressed. 

It is an old converted house serving up an eclectic menu and outdoor live music in a garden setting. The atmosphere was truly captivating, creating a dining experience that felt like a serene garden getaway. 

If you are in Reno or live in Reno, we really envy you since this place is a heaven for all food lovers who really appreciate the magic of food. 

For breakfast, we tried the chilaquiles/steak and the Rock and Roll omelet with Mimosas. It was tasty and delicious.

The menu at The Stone House Café is a culinary journey that offers a creative twist on classic breakfast and brunch favorites. 

I also tried their famous Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and they did not disappoint. The pancakes were fluffy, generously swirled with cinnamon, and drizzled with a luscious cream cheese glaze. The flavors were reminiscent of a fresh cinnamon roll but in pancake form. It was a true delight. 

For the main course, I tried the Avocado Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs atop avocado slices and an English muffin, all smothered in a rich hollandaise sauce.

The dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The Stone House Café’s commitment to using fresh and high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite.
