Looking for where to find the best breakfast in Temecula? You’ve come to the right place!
Most people visiting Temecula do so because it is renowned as a premier Southern California wine region, reminiscent of Italy’s Tuscan landscape with rolling verdant hills and a Mediterranean climate. As a San Diego resident, I have the privilege of visiting this area regularly, keeping the pulse on the wine scene. However, Temecula is also known for its amazing cuisine, which only gets better over time, always attracting new creative chefs to the region.
Typically, I am not known as a big fan of breakfast, and truth be told, it’s actually my least favorite meal of the day. So why you may wonder, would I write an article on the best Temecula breakfast places? Because they are that good. Enough to win me over time and again because of the quality of the entrees, selection, customer service, and ambiance.

Where to Go For Breakfast in Temecula: 7 Best Places
Bouquet Restaurant at Ponte

Stunning vineyards and perfectly manicured lawns surround this al fresco restaurant located on the grounds of Ponte Winery and Vineyard Inn offering both indoor and outdoor seating. If the weather cooperates, I suggest sitting outside, as the views are stunning. And you can enjoy live music if you visit during the weekend.
The restaurant is open daily for brunch and includes a variety of both breakfast and lunch-type dishes on the menu.
I was there with a few girlfriends, and every one of us oohed and awed over our selections. My Cheese Blintz was delightful, filled with ricotta cheese and topped with a seasonal berry compote, powdered sugar, and maple syrup (on the side).
Another winner was the Huevos Rancheros with refried beans, ranchero sauce, cotija cheese, cilantro, sour cream, and avocado wrapped in a corn tortilla.

Located in the golf course clubhouse at Pechanga Resort & Casino’s premier golf course, this restaurant not only offers breathtaking views of the world-class links and surrounding Temecula Valley, but it serves up some mighty fine cuisine.
Open from 7 am to 3 pm along with a Sunday brunch, Journey’s End knocks it out of the ballpark with its morning delights, all-day breakfast, salads, and sandwiches.
We had the pleasure of dining here for breakfast, and my husband and I were very impressed.
My Crab Cake Benedict was stuffed full with jumbo lump crab, sauteed spinach, tomatoes, and poached eggs over a grilled English muffin topped with hollandaise sauce and accompanied by breakfast potatoes. This is honestly the best Crab Benedict I’ve ever had.
My hubby ordered the Breakfast Burrito, a newly-added menu item with scrambled eggs, refried beans, tater tots, multiple kinds of cheese, avocado, and a cilantro lime crema. This was equally impressive. But word of warning: portions are large enough to share. You will need a to-go box.

Calling all carnivores, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and Paleo diners. This amazing eatery (which stands for Extraordinary Artisan Table) takes care of everyone and does it with a whole lot of love, sustainability, and local-driven ingredients. Foraging from small farms, ranches, and artisans throughout the U.S., E.A.T. serves up some amazing foods that are not only healthy, they are palate-pleasing.
A group of friends and I met for breakfast here and had the chance to sample many of the eatery’s options, though diners are also free to order a more “lunchy” type item if desired.
Because I typically want a lighter breakfast, I enjoyed the Homemade Roasted Granola Bowl with vanilla Greek yogurt, a house-made nut and dried fruit granola, berries, bananas, and agave syrup.
Chef Leah di Bernardo also whipped up a special frittata, a potato breakfast dish and then the big surprise came– vegan donuts. I admit, I wasn’t so sure about this at first, but after taking a few tastes of the tray of various flavors, I rated these a 10. They are baked, not fried, and they are amazing.

Though this lovely Italian restaurant in Old Town Temecula serves a variety of Italian entrees all day long, visitors shouldn’t skip over this venue if they’re looking for a creative breakfast. Breakfast is served Tuesday through Friday from 8 am to 11 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 12 pm.
First of all, this place is so charming. Secondly, you’ll find many touches of Italy, thanks to the Prestifilippo family.
My friend and I loved the creative names of the menu items and of course, the quality of the entrees. Though the breakfast menu isn’t extensive, it’s well-planned and executed.
I selected the Frittata with prosciutto, Parmigiano, and mushrooms accompanied by herbed potatoes.
My friend’s choice was Morning Gondola Ride, toasted bread with avocado served with bacon, tomato, and two sunny-side-up eggs.

What makes this Temecula eatery so popular is that it serves brunch seven days a week, all made-from-scratch craft food.
They’re also known for their incredibly creative cocktails, that resemble a piece of art so impressive, you almost don’t want to deconstruct them to drink them (oh, but I did) with my fully stacked Bloody Mary!
Brunch menus include both breakfast and lunch-related items so everyone in your party can be content.
My friend loves cheesecake so she had to order the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes. But the portions are large enough for sharing if you can agree on an entrée.
Breakfast items also include a variety of egg dishes, burritos, biscuits and gravy, and even shrimp and grits.
Being more of a lunch fan, I headed for the Taco ‘Bout It, with shrimp, crisp mixed cabbage, lime crema, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and cilantro on locally-made corn tortillas. But there are other options available that include sandwiches, salads, and other land and sea selections.

I admit, that when we dined for brunch at Cork Fire Kitchen, we were feeling a little breakfast-ed out. Which is the whole idea of brunch that includes a combination of breakfast and lunch choices.
This lovely restaurant overlooking the Temecula Creek Inn golf course serves up the best food accompanied by outstanding service.
My hubby and I shared a Strawberries & Champagne Salad, a Cork Fire Kitchen signature with frisee arugula, fresh strawberries, toma fromage (a Northern Italy cheese), and Marcona almonds topped with a balsamic reduction dressing.
The CFK Angus Burger is amazing with triple cream cheddar Swiss, pickled Persian cucumbers, caramelized onion, and a chef’s special sauce.
Even if you have to ask for a take-home box, don’t miss one of Cork Fire Kitchen’s signature desserts. The Ricotta Doughnut Holes are plenty for sharing, topped with whiskey caramel and lavender, and oh so good.

It’s not that you won’t be able to find something that tantalizes your palate at this Old Town Temecula restaurant, your problem will be what to order as the breakfast menu here is huge. If you go with a group of friends as I did, the fun part is that you’ll get a taste of many entrees.
However, no matter what you order, you must get an ooey-gooey cinnamon roll. Think of it as your shared appetizer before the main courses arrives.
If you’re an omelet fan, you’ll be amazed at the variety of choices here, and you can even build your own.
You’re welcome to head “south of the border” for a Mexican-inspired machaca, huevos rancheros or other specialty, select from numerous benedicts or choose an “off the griddle” item.
Our group favorites included the Pecan Waffle, Baja Omelet, and the Cowboy Benny with scrambled eggs, and sausage patties piled high on a warm homemade biscuit and smothered in country gravy.
Or you may choose to head straight to the more traditional lunch items that once again offer an impressive number of selections.
As my grandmother used to say when we were young and passing up breakfast because we were in a hurry to catch the school bus, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” All I can say is if you’re looking for where to find breakfast in Temecula, you’ll love your options here.
