If you have read some of my previous articles, you will know that I love eating out! One of the best feelings is getting steaming hot food delivered to your table at a restaurant.
Powell is a city in Park County, Wyoming, United States. It is an All-America City and home to Northwest College. But it is famous for much more than that. Here are some of the best restaurants in Powell Wyoming, that I would highly recommend.
The 7 Restaurants In Powell Wyoming
Rest Awhile Cafe
119 N. Bent St. Powell, WY 82435 // +307 202 3170
This was the first place I visited out of all of the restaurants in Powell Wyoming. I wanted to start my day off right with breakfast. There were a couple of people in the restaurant, but it was so peaceful. The thing that really made my day was the gluten-free bread that they serve as a side to two eggs and meat products such as bacon, sausage, or even ham. I had to try all of them, and I have to say I was impressed. I especially loved the bacon and ham.

For a bonus tip, you have to try the shake on your way out. The waiter was quite friendly, and the service was quick. This is a great place for breakfast in Powell.
The Red Zone, Sports Bar and Grill
124 N. Bent St. Powell, WY 82435 // +307 250 3410
The first things on my mind about this Powell restaurant are the excellent food options, really welcoming staff, and rich menu. The thing that caught my eye here was that they often host enjoyable events like trivia, bingo, and karaoke. The bonus here is that you can eat there or, if you want to spend the evening at home, you can just order it as takeout. My favorite is Philly steak, and the house-cut fries and wings are delicious. Regardless of whether you live here or are simply traveling through, you should visit The Red Zone.
You can’t go wrong with their consistently nice personnel, terrific food, and amazing beer.
The chefs are excellent, and the dish is always top-notch. The bartenders and waiters work quickly, politely, and sincerely to ensure that everything is right for the customer and that they have a memorable time. It’s a modest company that works hard every day to improve!
Millstone Pizza & Brewery
113 S. Bent St. Powell, WY 82435 // +307 271 7111
I visited this restaurant for dinner with several friends, and we were divided into several groups while seated, but the amazing servers managed to keep everything organized and the drinks filled. My needs were satisfied because our entire meal arrived at once, and it was all hot. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries are like no other place I have been in.
Several of the other people at my table got pizza, which took a bit longer to prepare but was still very hot. Additionally, there is a large arcade. Several others played games, but I didn’t. There was Mario Kart, air hockey, skeeball, and many more games when I did stroll through. This is a pleasant, fun place to eat in Powell.
Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant
275 N. Bent St. Powell, WY 82435 // +307 754 4665
I finally stumbled upon Pepe’s and made the decision to give it a try. I have high expectations for “Mexican” cuisine. Pepe’s did not let me down. I ordered the chicken tacos, which came with fresh corn tortillas, juicy, succulent chicken, beans, and rice. Everything was spicy and excellent. The pizza quesadilla that my friend ordered was very delicious!
This restaurant is spotless, serves amazing food, and offers generous portions at affordable prices. It is about two blocks off the highway on the route to Cody, Wyoming, and is largely used by locals. We truly enjoyed the meals and the small-town atmosphere here. This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Powell Wyoming.
El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant
112 N. Bent St. Powell, WY 82435 // +307 754 8085
The first thing that pops into my mind about this Powell Mexican restaurant is that there are many authentic choices on the menu, and fresh tortilla chips and salsa are offered free of charge when you arrive. The service is typically excellent, and the food is always freshly prepared and delivered hot.
We were in and out in about 40 minutes.
It’s a great restaurant pick for a quality meal. I ordered the rice and chicken enchiladas. It was crunchy, and the price was fair. Also, the portion was significant and satisfying. I would definitely recommend trying the green chile and the cheese enchiladas as sides for your meal.
Skyline Cafe
141 E Coulter Ave, Powell, WY 82435 // +13077548052
A cozy family place to stop by for one of the best breakfasts among all the restaurants in Powell Wyoming. The food is real diner food. The portions are large and cooked perfectly! The cost is very reasonable.
The building is older, but the restaurant was clean and well kept. I just had basic eggs over easy and with bacon. It came with toast and home fries or hash browns. I chose the hash browns, not at all greasy, just crispy and tasty. The eggs were cooked great, and if you like crispy well, done, not burnt bacon, this is the place to go. It’s cooked to perfection.
The Golden Brown French toast, the crispy hashbrowns, the fluffy scrambled eggs and the flavorful sausage links were very delicious.
Jen’s Chinatown
151 E Coulter Ave, Powell, WY 82435 // +13077547924
Jen’s Chinatown is a delicious spot to stop for a quick buffet lunch or dinner. The food is impressive, but so is the staff. They are so welcoming and kind. A large selection of yummy dishes awaits you. Dishes are authentic and diverse! You can order boxes to go as well.
One of the best Chinese food restaurants in Powell Wyoming. We went at lunchtime, and the food was fresh, the service was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The buffet line was constantly being attended to, with fresh food coming in almost constantly.
The egg foo young was the best that I have had in over a decade, and this is comparing it to the many other Chinese restaurants (both off the menu and buffets) that I have visited from coast to coast.
