Jackson, Wyoming, is appropriately known as “God’s country.” It’s what I term “soul space.” Whatever you call it, there’s no doubt its rugged mountains and dense wildlife populations will take your breath away.
Jackson is a beautiful mountain town in western Wyoming, just 15 minutes from Grand Teton National Park. I’ve been there several times in different seasons, and each time I leave enamored with this particular place.
Its blend of refinement and informality is completely unique when it comes to dining in Jackson. Upscale restaurants coexist with cowboy pubs and breweries on the same street. You’ll see folks dressed in sportswear at upscale ski resorts for dinner.
The juxtaposition is one of my favorite aspects of the town since it feels completely unique.
Yes, Jackson, Wyoming, is a picturesque mountain town that will take your breath away.
However, it may also be a town that fills your stomach with great food, warms you up with hot coffee, and refreshes you with quality produce after a hard journey.
Because of that, I have compiled Jackson’s best eating and drinking spots. Enjoy!

This family-run establishment, located just off the Town Square, has an enticing menu consisting of tantalizing and imaginative burger varieties.
Liberty is one of the best burger places in Jackson. This restaurant serves award-winning burgers cooked from the finest ingredients.
They provided a variety of burgers as well as tasty sides, shakes, beverages, and salads. We ordered the onion rings, which were surprisingly unique, well-seasoned, and crunchy.
The fries were thin, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The burger was cooked perfectly and juicy, and we also had a great salad.
Also, try their ground turkey, chicken, bison, or lamb burgers if you want to enhance your burger game.
There is a reason this is one of the best restaurants in Jackson. If you like burgers, this is definitely the place to go!
399 W. Broadway, Jackson, WY 83001, United States // +13077332784
This tiny restaurant on West Broadway offers a mix of Italian and Polish comfort food. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills, informal restaurant, look no further than Miazga’s.
Sure, the decor isn’t as upscale as in some elegant restaurants. However, it continues to win the hearts of locals and tourists alike with its hearty home-cooked comfort dinners and delectable sweets.
The service was excellent, the servers were courteous, and the meal was delicious! I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo, which was fairly filling yet delicious.
The hot spinach dip and the pierogis, on the other hand, were my favorites (potato and cheese).
I ordered an eclair for dessert, and the cream inside was just right and not overly sweet. The cream on top helped balance the less sweet cream, and I greatly enjoyed the entire experience.
I had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone! It’s one of the best restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Local, situated on Jackson’s historic town square, is a modern American steakhouse and bar. The menu includes classic and unique cuts of locally sourced meats and game, fresh seafood, shellfish, house-ground burgers, and seasonal fare.
Local is known for sourcing the best products from local farms and purveyors to create a unique and refreshingly local culinary experience.
This was a wonderful treat to ourselves after a long hike and a visit to the park. We began with a meat and cheese board as an appetizer. I’d recommend the smoked fish and game sausage, both of which were excellent.
My friend had the buffalo wellington and was ready to ask for additional frozen ones to take home with us because it was so amazing. I got the elk steak, wonderfully seasoned with a herb crust.
We shared the duck fat potatoes, and the horseradish sauce they offer with them should be bottled. If you want to eat here, make a reservation because it’s trendy. It is definitely a must-try restaurant in Jackson.
72 S. Glenwood St., Jackson, WY 83001, United States // +13072641820.
This restaurant, just a block from Town Square, is well-known for delivering innovative American dishes. Gather is one of the top restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming for dinner.
This restaurant has received praise for its posh setting and unique spins on classics such as steaks and burgers. It also serves exotic meals such as Korean marinated bison and elk Bolognese.
Gather’s unique and diversified menu offerings make it a great place for groups to eat together because there is something for everyone.
Our waiter, Michael, was attentive and informative. The Brussels sprouts, elk bolognese, beet salad, house salad, and cheeseburger were all delicious, as were the root beer float and flourless chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert.
If I recall properly, no crumbs were left on our plates after dinner and dessert; we polished it all.
I would dine here again if I were in Jackson; it’s nice to get away from burgers and other fast food and eat real food with a well-thought-out menu and an excellent wine list. Give it a shot; you won’t be sorry.

The Blue Lion, located in a charming, historic mansion, has been a cornerstone in Jackson Hole’s cuisine scene since 1978.
The restaurant has received national prominence recently for its fusion meals and innovative renditions of classic cuisine.
This is one of the restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming that not only serves delicious house specialties, but it also has a stylish environment and first-rate service. There is also live, soothing acoustic music to enhance your eating experience.
Our server gave excellent suggestions for popular dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. We tried the wasabi elk appetizer, which we enjoyed, along with the lovely presentation.
The buffalo tenderloin with cream sauce was my choice. Excellent! The food was cooked to order, and the potato side dish was unique and delicious, similar to a scalloped potato dish.
My friend ordered the lamb and claimed it was some of the best he’d ever tasted. It was served with a minty dipping sauce.
For dessert, our waiter recommended “Russian Cream.” Also fantastic! A one-of-a-kind dish. A vanilla cream/gelatin texture with a tart raspberry sauce prepared in-house. It’s fantastic.
This is another great gem amongst the restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming, so make sure you visit it!

This elegant restaurant serves delicious and pungent curries inspired by the cobra clubs of India in the 18th century.
Teton Tiger is one of the best Asian restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming for folks who enjoy Asian cuisine. It’s got a hipster/Wyoming-chic decor situation.
This restaurant offers a buffet of nutritious and tasty Asian-inspired cuisine, from tandoori meat curries to street noodles.
Their service was friendly, and the menu had a good variety of options, with some options off the beaten path. Our group ordered the dumplings, Bangkok Noodles l, Tikka Burrito, and Korean BBQ burrito.
The burritos were a good size but not overly filling. The Bangkok Noodles was definitely a full meal.
We asked for the noodles to be spicy and were not disappointed. I recommend this Asian spot in Jackson strongly!

Hand Fire Pizza serves delicious pizzas to satisfy your demands for something different and wonderful.
This restaurant provides a welcoming ambiance that makes you want to return again and again, which is why there are so many repeat customers.
The nicest aspect about this restaurant is the wonderfully welcoming treatment from their employees, who go out of their way to ensure you have a great eating experience every time you visit.
They are located in a magnificent refurbished theater structure. They kept enough of the existing characteristics to respect history before completely renovating the space.
Because it was a theater, you are seated in one vast room that also serves as the kitchen! That’s right, they hand-toss their pizzas in front of everyone, then bake them in two massive wood-fired ovens at the front of the room! It was a combination of dinner and a performance.
We could have stayed and watched them work all night. It was a lot of fun! The pizzas were also everything you’d expect.
Fresh ingredients, a gorgeous fluffy and crisp crust, and served hot from the oven to your table. One of my friends ordered the calzone, and I shared a large pizza with another friend, which we split half and half.
We went with the “Chew-bacca” and the “Burrata be kidding me” pizza. Everything we ate was delicious, and I can’t say enough good things about the overall experience. I recommend you go to this Jackson pizza place; you will be surprised!

Hatch is a high-end taco and tequila bar. Hatch’s menu includes breakfast, lunch, and supper selections, as well as fantastic margaritas and fresh tacos, and it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
Hatch also offers vegan and gluten-free options, and it takes pleasure in providing food created with the freshest ingredients and non-GMO products. The service here is excellent!
I’ve gone to several Mexican restaurants in Jackson, and this one is by far the finest.
It’s costly, but your mouth will thank you. The enchiladas, fish tacos, and nachos got us licking our fingers afterward. Not to mention the unique drinks! Certainly, drop by after a pleasant downtown stroll.
145 W. Pearl Ave., Jackson, WY 83001, United States // +13077391218
Downtown Jackson’s Pearl Street Bagels serves delicious cream cheese-covered carbs at a no-frills price.
The bagels here aren’t toasted because Pearl Street believes that freshly boiled bagels don’t require extra toasting.
We have never had a better breakfast bagel! Their ham, egg, and cheese bagels were huge and delicious.
I’m sure these things weighed a pound each and were so stuffed with meat that we weren’t even hungry for lunch. They are more than worth the $7 price tag!
If you’re looking for something a little more filling, try one of Pearl Street’s bagel sandwiches with your choice of ala carte toppings.
While strolling around Jackson’s numerous stores, take some time to stop into Pearl Street Bagels for some delicious food; you won’t be disappointed.
45 S. Glenwood St., Jackson, WY 83001, United States // +13077348038
This centrally located restaurant has delighted guests with its unique American food since 2005. Trio, a neighborhood favorite, delivers contemporary American cuisine in a relaxed bistro setting.
Furthermore, Trio entices tourists with its expertly made drinks and first-rate wines. The dining area is modest and intimate, yet the tables are far enough apart that we felt comfortable dining there.
Our server was competent, courteous, and obviously well-versed in the menu and wine list. We began with wines, intending to sip them while perusing the menu. We weren’t familiar with the wines on the menu, but the server simply educated us.
My friend tried the Sangio Cabernet, and I had the DeForvil Chardonnay. Both were fantastic. We knew we’d appreciate anything we ordered after seeing a few items presented to other tables and smelling the aroma.
We ordered the flat iron steak and sautéed fish for dinner. The medium-rare steak was served with truffled fingerlings, chimichurri, and chive crème Fraiche.
The salmon was absolutely delicious and served with whipped potatoes and vegetables. Both entrees were exquisitely prepared. It doesn’t get any better than this when it comes to food.
This is one of the best restaurants in Jackson Hole Wyoming that is definitely worth your time. A quiet but cozy atmosphere with delicious, flavorful meals.
