The Depot Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Douglas Wyoming. It delivers delicious food created from high-quality ingredients, including meat and produce acquired locally.
Their menu is diverse enough that everyone in the family will find something they enjoy, even if it is different from what they normally eat.
I eventually decided on the pork chop meal with mashed potatoes after much consideration. Their approach was spot on with this one. My friend ordered the Southwest salad, which she said was terrific.
The passing of a freight train enhanced our dining experience! The Depot Restaurant is ideal for every occasion, whether a casual supper with family and friends or an intimate date night at one of the window tables.
The service was excellent, and the food was delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend it! I’m so glad I tried this place!

La Costa is, without a doubt, a hidden gem amongst the restaurants in Douglas Wyoming. The restaurant has been operating for some time and has consistently been regarded as one of the best Mexican restaurants in Douglas.
I am quite fortunate to have discovered this eatery in this small Wyoming town.
I had the tortilla soup, which was loaded with vegetables and a large quantity of hand-shredded chicken.
I emphasize “hand-shredded” because a machine had clearly processed the chicken I had in another Mexican restaurant. It makes a difference.
It included soft, gooey cheese, avocado, and tortilla chips. It was a little spicy, but I liked it. It was a meal in and of itself.
My friend ordered the carnitas res, which was the special that day. He said it was very nice. You can be sure that you will leave full and satisfied since they put a lot of food on the table!
They have a beautiful environment and a very kind staff. I highly recommend La Costa for some excellent Mexican meals in Douglas.

Chutes restaurant and bar is highly recommended if you’re looking for beautiful Indian food in Douglas. This restaurant provides excellent Indian cuisine. It’s been around for a while, but it was just remodeled.
When you visit this place, you may spend your time watching live entertainment in one of their lounge rooms or hanging out with friends over drinks while waiting for your food to arrive.
They serve delicious, real Indian food. I tried both the curry chicken and the butter chicken. The two dishes were tasty and filling!
I also enjoyed their amazing garlic naan. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a great place to visit!
It’s no secret that I’ve tried a lot of fantastic Indian food, but their butter chicken is certainly high on my list!

Plains Trading Post Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food, moderate rates, and an environment that transports you to the middle of nowhere. It has reasonable prices, fresh food options, and tasty meals!
The dining area is a labyrinth of nooks and crannies where you can find a seat. The decor gives the impression of an antique stagecoach stop, which is undoubtedly intriguing.
They represent a small-town, old-country vibe. There is counter service and a lovely display of coffee cups. The breakfast was wonderful and homemade.
I ordered the Green Chili Omelette with green chili, cheese, and slices of ham inside. My friend ordered a delicious-looking classic cheeseburger with hand-made fries on the side. We really enjoyed the food!

1793 Muirfield Ct., Douglas, WY 82633, United States // +13073529311
Ranahan Steakhouse is one of the loveliest restaurants in Douglas Wyoming with delicious meals. The structure resembles a castle, and the interior makes you feel like you’re in a movie. It’s also quite large, with lots of space for large groups.
It is housed in a gorgeous new building that is spotless. It was filled with great country music, including Riley Green, Jamey Johnson, and Jon Pardi’s highlights.
They offer a limited beer variety, but there is something for everyone, whether craft or domestic beer fans.
I began with a French onion soup. It was fantastic and delivered in the coolest way I’ve ever seen. Then there was the 12-ounce prime rib. The presentation was outstanding.
It was perfectly cooked, soft, and delicious. The seasoning wasn’t my favorite, but it was still quite good. Their salad and bread bar was one of the most beautiful I’d ever seen. The service was out of this world!
Prices are reasonable for the quality of the event and food, especially given our present inflationary price climate.
I would definitely return if I am passing through Douglas again, and I would recommend it to anyone.

There’s no better neighborhood bar for cocktail lovers than The Waterhole. It has terrific food, drinks, and entertainment. They’re a short walk from town and along the stream, where you can enjoy a drink or three.
Remember, this is a little establishment, and I don’t believe food is their top focus. Having said that, there was probably only a table of the eight of us and just two ladies cooking.
We observed as they prepared fresh hamburger patties and cooked them in front of us. The lunch was delicious and well worth the stop. The Waterhole is a great place for local food amongst the restaurants in Douglas Wyoming.

I’m still amazed at how delicious the meal was at this truck stop. Don’t be put off by the title “truck stop.” They serve fantastic comfort food.
I ordered the steak dinner, which included a ten-ounce sirloin steak topped with mushrooms, onions, and delectable brown sauce. I requested it medium with crispy fries, and it came with a salad.
