Original charbroiled oysters can be found at Drago’s Seafood Restaurant. The restaurant brings a taste of New Orleans to Jackson.
Their mouthwatering Drago’s Mixed Grill, Herradura Shrimp or Oysters, Boudin Stuffed Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp Pasta, Seafood Pasta, and Pasta Jambalaya are all available for your enjoyment.
It is well worth the price, and the portions are enormous. Bring an appetite, since if not, there will be leftovers.
The restaurant’s kids’ menu offers Fried Shrimp, Fried Catfish, Alfredo Pasta, hamburgers, and Grilled Chicken Fingers. In addition, you should try their Charbroiled Lobster, a Maine lobster paired with potatoes and charbroiled in garlic butter. There are vegetarian and gluten-free menu options at Drago’s Seafood Restaurant.
I chose the Boudin Stuffed Shrimp, with jumbo Gulf shrimp cooked with a hot Cajun sausage and corn choux. The filling was quite tasty. It is served with meat and rice and has a brown gravy base.
The corn had a lot of spice, giving it a kick. I also consumed the fresh spinach sauté. It was great. I tried liquid marijuana for the first time and thought it was excellent. If you are looking for variety and great quality, this is one of the best seafood restaurants in Jackson MS for that.

The Mayflower Café has become synonymous with superb taste and good times in Jackson, MS, since its founding in 1935.
The classic, Greek-inspired seafood and steak menu has been passed down via the Kountouris family from generation to generation as the capital city’s longest-operating restaurant.
We ordered the Crab Cakes, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Mayflower Club. The Club and the Sandwich with a side of Potato Salad were both delicious and fresh.
The Crab Cakes, on the other hand, was fantastic. Very unusual and distinct from anything else. They are little and topped with chopped tomatoes and onions, but it is the sauce that makes them so delicious. If you enjoy crab, you should try this.
Overall, this beautiful establishment has excellent service, cuisine, and environment. If you appreciate old diners, this is a must-see.

Reb Lobster is a restaurant in Jackson, MS, with outstanding food, excellent service, a pleasant ambiance, reasonable prices, and comfy booth seating. Even for establishments that don’t provide any of these amenities, it’s a pleasant experience. And I tell you that the food will be all you desire.
We didn’t have to wait long to be seated, but we took our time looking at the restaurant. It was spotless, and the atmosphere was upbeat. The personnel were all pleasant and smiled as they greeted us.
After we were seated, our drink orders were swiftly received, and our server informed us of the promotions. She was especially knowledgeable about fresh fish dinners. Of course, the food was delicious, and we were continually catered to because we had ordered the Endless Shrimp.
I tried numerous dishes, but my favorites were the shrimp scampi and the new grilled shrimp. The shrimp was fresh and gently seasoned with just the proper amount of garlic, and it was absolutely unending.
I checked the restroom after lunch and found it to be pristine. This was an excellent dining experience for me.
So, if you want to spend your lunch or dinner with friends or family, just go to Reb Lobster in Jackson, MS.

In the greater Jackson area, Crawdad Hole is an excellent place to eat a variety of Southern seafood specialties. The wait staff and other employees have the best hospitality around.
A genuine Mississippi encounter! Until you have been to the Crawdad Hole for Southern crawfish, you have not been accepted by the city. Everything is condensed into one boil. I was unaware of how simple it is to overlook it.
I ordered a pound of crawdads with corn, sausage, and potatoes. Each extra is priced separately in case you want more sausage than corn or potatoes, or vice versa. I liked this way better than just getting whatever they throw in the bag.
The crawdads were deliciously spiced, and even though the extras weren’t boiled, they were delicious once they were all sliced up and mixed in with the crawdads. Crab and shrimp are also available.
I was welcomed to Mississippi by the adorably charming and welcoming woman at the window. Southern warmth, delicious food, and simplicity; everything you would expect in any of the seafood restaurants in Jackson MS.

One of the world’s most wonderful foods is seafood. It’s also a favorite of mine. Few foods are as pleasing to the palate as freshly caught, top-notch fish.
This is why I was eager to visit Juicy Seafood (Jackson), not just because of their wonderful seafood assortment and stellar ratings from residents of Jackson, but also because of their dedication to providing the freshest seafood in the area. No wonder it made the list of the best seafood restaurants in Jackson MS.
I ordered a pound of shrimp with andouille (sausage), and I received the kickin’ seasoning, which was mildly spicy. I also ordered a half-pound of shrimp and snow crab legs on my visit. They had the ideal amount of spice and salt.
Additionally, the steamed oysters with their house sauce are excellent. Although I’ve had better, the raw wasn’t awful.
In conclusion, I enjoyed my lunch at a fantastic new restaurant off County Line Road. The personnel was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic!

A modern oyster bar, Saltine Restaurant specializes in Southern cuisine, focusing on fresh seafood and in-season vegetables. There is also an extensive beer list, with over 30 craft beer taps within the restaurant and an assortment of rums and unique cocktails. It’s definitely one of the best seafood restaurants in Jackson MS.
It’s a great neighborhood restaurant for a laid-back supper with loved ones. Grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, chicken strips, fried shrimp, and fried catfish strips are all available on the kid’s menu.
Their oysters are offered raw, smoked, wood-fired, and fried and come from the Gulf of Mexico, the east and west coasts, and Canada. Up to 20 guests may be accommodated in their private dining room for luncheons, gatherings, events, and modest receptions.
With breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner are served every day. In addition, for groups of any size, Saltine Restaurant offers full-service catering services.
Their calamari was among the greatest we’ve ever eaten, and the tangy sauce they poured on top was just right. My friend ordered the catfish and chips with beer batter while we tried the version with cornmeal.
While the cornmeal was excellent, the beer batter was fantastic! Fries were ok, but the hush puppies more than made up for it.
Excellent service was provided! Even though they were very busy, our waitress consistently checked on us and kept our drinks filled. One of the top seafood restaurants in Jackson MS!
