The Manship Wood Fired Kitchen is a hidden gem I stumbled upon in Jackson! This is a place where the warm spirit of the South meets the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean, and all served up in a sophisticated bar/eatery setting.

I visited for brunch, and let me tell you; it did not disappoint. The Bloody Mary was out of this world!  But the real showstopper was the Crawfish Benedict. Imagine succulent crawfish elegantly resting on a bed of toasted English muffins, crowned with a perfectly poached egg, and doused in a rich Hollandaise sauce. An absolute brunch superstar!

They also served a strawberry salad that was fresh and vibrant. Now, here’s where the Southern comfort came in – a side of grits and Gouda.

The Manship isn’t just about the food, though. The atmosphere here is second to none. I chose to dine alfresco, soaking up the Mississippi sun, but a quick peek inside revealed a chic interior brimming with character. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated, making it a feast for the eyes and the palate.

What truly made the experience memorable, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was polite and well-informed, always ready with recommendations.

Even though the place was bustling, our glasses were never empty, and the food arrived without a lengthy wait! This spot is a must-try for any serious foodie for brunch in Jackson.
