One of the standout features is the proximity to the Columbia River, which provides stunning views and recreational activities such as boating, fishing, and kayaking. 

We really enjoyed the vibrant arts and cultural scene this city has. 

We visited art galleries, theaters, and performance venues and met locals and visitors who enjoyed a variety of artistic expressions.

I ordered the Chimichurri Steak with Mashed potatoes and it was so juicy and tender. I was on my way to fall from my chair because literally I was in heaven for a whole one minute. 

Risotto special was even more mind blowing with the creamiest base and perfect amount of spice and Parmesan cheese. 

The fried brussel sprouts are a must! 

For dessert, we had donut holes. We loved them for their portability, bite-sized nature, and versatility. They were served in batches, making them perfect for sharing with friends or for satisfying a sweet craving on the go.

Whether enjoyed as a standalone treat, alongside a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, or as part of a dessert platter, donut holes in  Amaro’s Table Downtown are a delightful miniature version of the classic donut that brings joy to many.

IIt will be such a pity if I don’t mention their drinks which are delicious and very creative.

We had an Elk and Bison burger and they were just about perfect. It was a mouthwatering culinary creation that combines the flavors of two distinct game meats, elk and bison, resulting in a unique and delicious burger experience.

It’s the fries that stole the show. They are a thick steak fry that is twisted, seasoned and deep fried. 

We also shared an order of baskets and gravy with an egg for both of us. Old fashioned brisket, very unique.  It was quite good.

The vibrant and lively atmosphere adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant, making it a popular choice for both lunch and dinner. 

The menu features dishes like Korean BBQ bowls, teriyaki salmon, and Vietnamese pho, all prepared with fresh ingredients and expertly crafted flavors. 

Thai food here is one of my favorites. It is a vibrant and flavorful cuisine that has gained international popularity for its unique blend of aromatic herbs, spices, and fresh ingredients.

In Nom Nom Restaurant and GrillIn you will find a perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, salty, and sometimes bitter flavors, creating a harmonious and complex taste profile.

All of the soups are phenomenal – the wonton soup, the Tom kha, and their specialty chicken noodle soup are some of our go-tos for dinner. 

We also love all of the curried and drunken noodles.

Nestled in a picturesque location, Elements Restaurant a refined dining experience with some of the best service in Vancouver.

This upscale restaurant showcases West Coast cuisine with an emphasis on sustainable seafood and locally sourced ingredients. 

From their delectable seafood platters to their perfectly seared steaks, every dish is prepared with finesse and attention to detail. 

I had scallops and my friend had the duck. Both are cooked to perfection with an interesting array of flavors. The beet salad was amazing with arugula panna cotta and pickled pineapple adding texture and flavor. 

We all shared cocoa-rubbed tenderloin with delicata squash, fingerling potatoes and goat fondue. For dessert, we had the hazelnut chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and fig gelato. It was the perfect ending and I ate every bite.

The elegant and contemporary decor, complemented by attentive service, elevates the overall dining experience at Elements Restaurant.

From the wait staff to dessert it was a wonderful experience. The flavors of the dishes were indescribably delicious and we could not wait to go back.

Grays Restaurant & Bar captures the essence of Vancouver’s vibrant food scene by combining international flavors with locally sourced ingredients. 

Situated in a chic and trendy setting, the restaurant exudes a modern and energetic vibe. The menu showcases a fusion of global cuisine, with dishes like miso-glazed black cod, Moroccan-spiced lamb shank, and seared ahi tuna. 

The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, short ribs were to die for, fish and chips were fantastic, and the two sides of brussels sprouts and mac & cheese are highly recommended.

I also had the chicken dish with potato. The chicken was tender and the sauce was super tasty. My friend had the tater tots nachos with pulled pork.

We had this for lunch and our appetite was our biggest enemy in the proceeding part of the day. Therefore we decided to visit this place for breakfast too.

I had eggs Benedict, a breakfast that was hot, tasty with a good coffee

We’ve also tried cornmeal crusted trout, baked Brie, truffle Mac n cheese, duck fries, and the fried rabbit. Everything was out of this world. 

Do yourself a favor and order Bread Pudding whether you are full or not. We can’t wait to go back and eventually try the whole menu.
