10 Best Dallas Rooftop Bars | Drinks With a View In The Big D

Sharing is caring!

Long known for its diversity, high temperatures, and barbecue, Dallas has become a city rich in culture, food, and drink, making it more than worthy of the title of “Best in the West.”

Located in the north of Texas, the nation’s second-largest state, Dallas is a city with delicious food and a great music scene. It is one of the greatest places in the country, especially if you want to hang out and mix with a very diverse crowd.

The nightlife was once the city’s second-tier attraction—a claim that was hard to argue against—but that is no longer the case. The city boasts nearly fifty rooftop bars that are worth a visit.

If you are planning a trip to Dallas, be sure to drop by any of these rooftop bars for a beer or two.

The Dallas skyline is as beautiful as it is intimidating. With skyscrapers and high-rises, Dallas is a city that boasts high-end architecture, making it the perfect place for a rooftop bar.

Dallas rooftop bars are popping up all over the city, and they’re making a name for themselves as the go-to place for sunset drinks and breathtaking views. Let’s dig into Dallas’s best rooftop bars.

HG SPLY. CO. is considered one of the best rooftops in Dallas, hands down.

This is a place where you can mix delicious and healthy food, signature and unique cocktails, and a great atmosphere while enjoying the view of Greenville Ave. They have colorful tables and a covered, shady area for warm sunny days.

The rooftop bar has its own menu that offers a range of bar snacks, as well as deliciously crafted cocktails and a variety of beer choices.

Their menu is filled with food items such as Cochinita Nachos, ginger garlic hummus, deviled avocados, chips and queso, and so much more. The cocktail you should have is the frozen Double Under with tequila, lime juice, and rosemary turbinado sugar all combined. And all that while feasting nachos filled with Mexican pork or carrot hummus.

Start with a combination of sweet and regular fries tossed in Cajun seasoning with Remoulade dipping sauce and salty Cajun Fries.

With that, you can sip a bottle of wine like Miraval rosé, or you can have a classic like the Vieux Carre cocktail.

I highly recommend it if you are looking for a rooftop bar in the uptown area.

Named after the historic theater next door, Sundown is one of my favorite spots. It is a bar with different outdoor patios, but also a live music venue.

Sundown at Granada is known to be usually a quiet place with a nice shade and wood cover.

It’s described as a go-to place before a concert, overlooking Greenville Ave.

Brunch is served here each Saturday and Sunday, and some of the specialty cocktails that come along are Bloody Mary, Cold Brew Old Fashioned, Mimosa, and more.

And for the careless drinkers that want to start early, the happy hour here begins at 11 am.

Sundown at Granada should be on everyone’s must-see Dallas rooftops list.

With a focus on combining different cuisines, Sky Blossom offers Vietnamese-inspired cuisine paired with a wide selection of must-try cocktails.

Some of the cocktails include the Lychee Martini or the Midnight Unicorn. Also, they have plenty of options for mojitos and margaritas. I definitely enjoyed their margarita flights that come in four different flavors, mango, strawberry, blueberry, and the classic one.
