Long known for its diversity, high temperatures, and barbecue, Dallas has become a city rich in culture, food, and drink, making it more than worthy of the title of “Best in the West.”
Located in the north of Texas, the nation’s second-largest state, Dallas is a city with delicious food and a great music scene. It is one of the greatest places in the country, especially if you want to hang out and mix with a very diverse crowd.
The nightlife was once the city’s second-tier attraction—a claim that was hard to argue against—but that is no longer the case. The city boasts nearly fifty rooftop bars that are worth a visit.
If you are planning a trip to Dallas, be sure to drop by any of these rooftop bars for a beer or two.

Quarter Bar proudly serves a large selection of Southern dishes, as well as signature cocktails, wine, and beer.
Start with a combination of sweet and regular fries tossed in Cajun seasoning with Remoulade dipping sauce and salty Cajun Fries.
With that, you can sip a bottle of wine like Miraval rosé, or you can have a classic like the Vieux Carre cocktail.

Named after the historic theater next door, Sundown is one of my favorite spots. It is a bar with different outdoor patios, but also a live music venue.
Sundown at Granada is known to be usually a quiet place with a nice shade and wood cover.
It’s described as a go-to place before a concert, overlooking Greenville Ave.
Brunch is served here each Saturday and Sunday, and some of the specialty cocktails that come along are Bloody Mary, Cold Brew Old Fashioned, Mimosa, and more.
And for the careless drinkers that want to start early, the happy hour here begins at 11 am.
Sundown at Granada should be on everyone’s must-see Dallas rooftops list.
UPSIDE WEST VILLAGE

Since it opened in 2018, Upside West Village instantly made its place as one of the hottest hangout places in Dallas.

With apps like crab rolls with hickory-infused aioli, shishito peppers, and edamame rolls, they keep loyal customers coming back for more. They are just as well known for their signature cocktails, like the Rita Hayworth, which is made with gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup. They serve wine by bottle or glass and local craft beers.
