We came to Mom Dumpling with the hope of having nice food and a tasty lunch. That day I didn’t feel well, so I was looking forward to lunch that would motivate me to put on my rosy glasses and see the world in colors.
All I can say is that the lunch I had here was one of the best among all my recent lunches.
The server was really nice. I just showed her the foods I want to order and she taught me how to say the name. Also, when I told her that pan-fried Xiao Long BAO looked amazing, she recommended other menu items to try in the future. She was very friendly and supportive.
It is important to point out that the pan-fried Xiao long BAO is delicious. I ordered it because it was my first time and it was something perfect. I ordered hot green tea too, and it was really nice. The cold beef was also good, and we brought it to our accommodation.
The noodles are good, as were all the noodles on the menu in general. The noodles from the Braised Beef Brisket Noodles were nice and chewy.

Mom Dumpling is an authentic Chinese restaurant in Pleasanton that brings back memories of the flavors of my past. The Pork Xiao Long Bao was made with thin, delicate skin with a tasty broth that will leave you breathless.
The Shiitake Mushroom and Chicken Dumpling were nice surprises, and the beef brisket was tender with just the right amount of marbling. Finally, the Taiwan Popcorn Chicken! The fact that this dish exists will never make me vegetarian.

Love their Peking duck, Fish filet in chili oil, string beans, and pancakes.
We also liked beef with onions, pineapple pork, and steamed/fried rice.
We love this place! The dishes we tried didn’t let us down. And the portions are generous regardless of the dish. Hope this restaurant will never shut down in this plaza because it is really amazing.
