I was greeted by a stunning interior oozing with coziness and warmth. The atmosphere was simply delightful, and the attentive staff took excellent care of me from the moment I walked in. 

As I settled in, I couldn’t help but appreciate how the beautiful ambiance and top-notch service struck the perfect balance.


Now, let’s talk about the food! I decided on the lasagna, and oh boy, it was divine! The portion size was just right, leaving me satisfied without feeling overly stuffed.

Brought to life by the team behind the famous Mamma Mia, Boscaiola boasts an incredibly stylish and inviting interior featuring gorgeous timber, white ceramic fittings, and even some clever use of chain-link fencing.

I was instantly drawn to the large windows, which allowed sunshine to pour in and provided a front-row seat to the vibrant street theater outside. 

But wait, there’s more! Downstairs, I discovered a beautiful cellar adorned with wine bottles and wire-brushed brick and stone, adding to the charm of this charming dining spot.

The menu consisted of a familiar selection of pizzas and pasta, but I could tell right away that quality and quantity were key here. 

We decided to order bruschetta (x2), tagliolini pomodoro el burrata, pappardelle Boscaiola, spaghetti al frutti di mare, and veal with gnocchi

To say we were delighted would be an understatement! Each dish was delicious, bursting with authentic Italian flavors that left us craving more.

My evening at Boccanera started off with a bang as I sipped on the best cocktail I’ve had during my two-week stay in Poland. 

Next up was a bowl of delicious pumpkin soup, so divine that I was tempted to lick the bowl clean! 

For my main course, I indulged in the pappardelle pasta with tender pieces of beef coated in a mouthwatering sauce that left me craving more. Such a simple dish, yet bursting with unforgettable flavors!

To accompany my pasta, I chose a glass of Polish red wine, which proved to be equally delicious. 

And though I was quite full, I couldn’t resist the siren call of dessert. I treated myself to a heavenly white chocolate-filled ball with forest fruit, which was simply divine! My experience at Boccanera ranks among the best dinners I’ve had in a while.

One of Boccanera’s many perks is its excellent side street location, featuring a spacious interior perfect for large groups.

My friends indulged in various dishes, including seafood salad, veal, aubergines, gnocchi, and ravioli, each met with universal approval and praise.

But the highlight of our meal came when I ordered my all-time favorite dessert, tiramisu. Let me tell you, dear foodies, that this was hands-down the best tiramisu I have ever tasted in my worldly travels. 

Paired with a delightful Italian Riesling, this heavenly treat left me speechless.

Throughout our meal, the exceptional service at Restauracja Corleone only added to the enchanting ambiance, and the house wine proved to be a decent choice to complement the outstanding dishes.

We were presented with the option to dine either outside in the heated, covered section or indoors. 

Choosing to relish the restaurant’s charming interior, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the tranquil atmosphere that seemed worlds away from the lively main square just outside.

The antipasti starter graced our table, tantalizing our taste buds with flavors so divine it felt like a culinary masterpiece. 

My main course of Brodetto – a delightful medley of seafood in a rich tomato and garlic sauce, accompanied by dipping bread – was nothing short of a joy to savor. 

My friend, on the other hand, couldn’t stop raving about her pizza, declaring it the best she’s had in years.
