Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Grapevine. Located inside a historic house, Esparza’s provides an intimate and cozy atmosphere with a warm color palette of orange and red.
The restaurant offers something for everyone – televisions playing all the sports games, an extensive menu featuring authentic Mexican cuisine, and plenty of margaritas to go around.
We visited this restaurant at lunchtime, and as we weren’t so hungry, we ordered the sour cream nachos and meat and cheese nachos, and I really loved them both. They pair perfectly with a glass of frozen Margarita.
However, an hour later, I was overwhelmed by the beautiful flavor of tacos, and of course, I ordered one for myself. The tender strips of marinated beef are grilled to perfection, then rolled in two flour tortillas, and served with rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo, which gave me the best feeling ever.
Also, I would like to mention that the staff at Esparza’s is friendly and accommodating; they strive to make each guest feel welcome while ensuring all orders are served quickly, made to perfection, and with a smile!

Mesa Mexican Cuisine

Mesa Mexican Cuisine, located in the heart of Grapevine, Texas, is quickly becoming a favorite dining spot for locals and visitors alike. Owned and operated by wife and husband duo, Mesa has been serving upscale Mexican fare for years.
The restaurant itself is a charming mix of modern chic decor with rustic accents that reflects the couple’s unique blend of influences.
The menu at Mesa offers an array of dishes to please any palate, such as classic street-style tacos al pastor or their signature Mesa Surf and Turf, which is Grilled Sirloin Carne Asada and Bacon wrapped shrimp served with chipotle mashed.
Interestingly, they have a separate brunch menu, including Mesa Spicy Chilaquiles, Egg and potato burrito, Breakfast Tacos, Breakfast Quesadillas, Mesa Omelet, and Steak and Eggs. We paired our brunch with one of their signature cocktail, Coconut Meltdown, which is a Mesa signature small frozen margarita with a shot of coconut rum on top. It was a really delightful experience!
Their commitment to fresh ingredients from local farms ensures that their guests can expect quality meals every time they visit the restaurant. To top it off, all desserts are made in-house using only natural ingredients for maximum flavor and satisfaction!

Los Amigos, located in the heart of Grapevine, is a small family-friendly restaurant that has been serving up homemade Mexican cuisine for years. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for locals to enjoy some delicious food.
One of Los Amigos’ most beloved dishes is their signature bean soup. This hearty dish is made with only the freshest ingredients and slowly simmered to perfection. Every spoonful of this savory soup will bring a touch of warmth and comfort to your table. It’s no wonder why so many people come back time and again to taste this soup.
If you go there for breakfast, I recommend the Chilaquiles. Chilaquiles are scrambled eggs with corn tortilla strips, topped with cheese and ranchero sauce, and served with refried beans. The dish is flavorful and tasty, and what is most important, it reminds me of my grandma’s cuisine.
I also like their Street Tacos, filled with your choice of beef fajita, chicken fajita, barbacoa, chorizo, brisket, carnitas, asada, or al pastor with cilantro and onions. They are some of the best I have ever tried in Grapevine.

Whether you choose fish tacos or enchiladas from their vast menu, you can be sure that your taste buds will be tantalized by the freshness and flavor of every bite.
My favorite is definitely their Mexi Cobb Salad with mixed greens, grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, tomato, hard-boiled egg, jack cheese, chives, and cheddar.
I like lighter dinners, so I also ordered their taco with butter-garlic shrimp, jalapeno, tomato, onions, cheese, and avocado on corn tortillas served with white rice and black beans. I am not a garlic girl, but this one was refreshing and flavorful but not heavy.
The restaurant also serves delicious margaritas with its signature recipes, made with only the finest ingredients. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, then Baja Mex Grill must be on your list – they’ll make sure your visit is one to remember! The friendly staff is knowledgeable about all the dishes too, so don’t hesitate to ask questions if you need more information.

The portions are generous, so come hungry! Everything is cooked fresh and made with local ingredients whenever possible.
We came for breakfast, and we had the best breakfast tacos in a while. We got potato, egg, and cheese, chorizo, egg, and cheese and bean, egg, and cheese tacos. The potato tacos were the best out of the three, but they were all phenomenal.
Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed yet lively – a great spot for families or friends looking to catch up over dinner and drinks. And if you have a difficult time choosing what to order, the friendly staff can help recommend some of their favorite dishes!

Their menu features traditional dishes like tacos and enchiladas made with fresh ingredients sourced from local farms. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable about all things Mexican cuisine, and always eager to help you find your perfect meal.
We ordered four of their beef Enchiladas covered with green or red sauce, sour cream, and cheese and served with rice, refried beans, and salads for share, and we were pleasantly surprised.
They also have an extensive selection of beverages, including soft drinks, cocktails, Jarrittos, and homemade Sangria, that will have your taste buds dancing with delight as soon as they arrive at your table.

Those who love seafood can enjoy a variety of shrimp, fish, and crab dishes, while vegetarians can have a great time sampling the quesadillas and nachos. And for those looking for something special, the burrito bowls are sure to hit the spot.
For starters, we ordered their nachos, served with beans, choice of meat, tomato, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream and the tortilla bowl with beans, lettuce, green peppers, olives, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and cheese for share. They were really fresh and delicious.
For my main course, I chose shrimp with garlic, salad, potato salad, and rice. It was delicious, and the portion was so big that I couldn’t even finish it, and it was definitely worth the price.
In addition to its delicious food options, Taqueria Burritos Locos also provides live music every weekend. From classic rock favorites to Latin jazz hits, there’s always something playing that will get your feet tapping and your taste buds singing! Best of all, their prices are incredibly affordable, so you’ll leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank.
