The 12 Best Restaurants in Redmond, Oregon

Brickhouse

412 SW 6th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15415261782

Brickhouse is one of the greatest restaurants in Redmond Oregon for an upscale culinary experience. It is a superb steakhouse in Redmond’s historic downtown.

It is a perfect destination for any meat or seafood lover wishing to spend a night out with Northwest-raised steaks and fresh, seasonal seafood.

I ordered the 16-ounce Pork Chop, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with grilled flavors. It came with some sort of salsa topping that didn’t add much to the flavor of the meat.

My mashed potatoes were loaded with cheese, and I ate them with passion before slowing down as their richness overwhelmed my momentum. The vegetables were beautiful, cooked lightly, and seasoned with intriguing and appealing spices.

We also had the Tempura Zucchini appetizer, which was amazing and plenty for two people to share. They have an extensive wine list but no house wine.

The table service was prompt, professional, and polished, precisely what you’d expect from a higher-end restaurant.

Our servers provided us with unlimited French bread and butter, filled our water glasses, and gave us containers for leftovers.

Brickhouse is an excellent location for a celebration or special event!

The Pig and Pound

423 SW 8th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15415261697

Pig and Pound Public House is unique classic English pub amongst the restaurants in Redmond Oregon. It’s a small, friendly area to unwind with friends or family while enjoying superb cuisine and drink.

The menu features classics such as Scotch eggs, bangers and mash, fish and chips, and shepherd’s pie.

In my group of five, we ordered fried mushrooms, poutine, bangers and mash, bison shepherd’s pie, beef stroganoff, and a special pork belly sandwich, which we all enjoyed very much.

The Pig and Pound Beef Stroganoff

Everything was prepared and seasoned to perfection, and every plate was thoroughly polished.

The food quality was excellent for the price, and the service was outstanding. If you’re passing through, this is a must-try for pub food in Redmond.

Diego’s Spirited Kitchen

447 SW 6th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15413162002

Look no further than Diego’s Spirited Kitchen is one of the most interesting, Mexican restaurants in Redmond Oregon. Their vast menu caters to all types of customers and includes Latin classics like burritos, enchiladas, and tostadas.

Diego’s, located in the historic downtown, takes pride in producing everything from scratch.

Taco lovers will be spoiled for all the choices, including the coconut shrimp tacos and the classic pork carnitas tacos.

I ordered two tacos and one enchilada plate (I know; it’s a lot of food). The beef tacos were delicious, but the beef enchilada was out of this world.

Diego's Spirited Kitchen Beef Enchilada

One of my buddies had wonderful barbeque shrimp in a spicy sauce. My other friend had three lobster cakes, which she raved about. We ordered the made-at-your-table guacamole, which was delicious.

Finally, I finished my meal with a piece of blueberry cobbler cheesecake, which left me speechless.

And if you like margaritas, you won’t be disappointed. Get the fresh lime margarita with your preferred tequila. They have a great selection of tequila.

The service was excellent as well. If you’re in looking for one of the best Mexican restaurants in Redmond Oregon, and want to seize the day and go out for a delicious lunch, check out Diego’s. You won’t be disappointed!

Madaline’s Grill & Steak House

2414 S. Hwy 97, Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15415489964

Madaline’s Grill & Steak House is a Redmond restaurant you should try. I’ve been there several times because it’s one of my favorite places.

This restaurant will not disappoint you. Madaline’s has a calm ambiance that makes it ideal for every event, whether hanging out with friends and family or dancing all night.

I really love Madaline’s, providing the distinct flavor of typical Mexican cuisine combined with American steaks. The environment is simple and enjoyable.

We were served chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. We were greeted and handed beverages and snacks a few minutes later.

I was afraid to order the seafood penne pasta at what appeared to be a Mexican restaurant. However, I was blown away by how much seafood there was in the dish and how wonderful it was! The shrimp were enormous!

Madaline's Grill & Steak House Seafood Penne Pasta

The halibut pieces were massive. The scallops were tasty and perfectly balanced. The lobster was succulent and tender.

The entire meal was covered with shredded crab and swirled in alfredo sauce. My friend ordered the ole mole burrito. It was massive, and the mole was delicious.

I highly recommend this spot because it is reasonably priced, offers generous amounts, has high-quality meals and it is definitely one of the best restaurants in Redmond Oregon.

Becerra’s on 6th Bistro

646 SW 6th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15415274336

Becerra’s on 6th Bistro provides an international experience without leaving the country.

It is one of Redmond’s finest restaurants, with leather-bound seats and a combination of French and American food.

You feel welcomed and pampered the moment you walk through the door. The small, intimate environment and one-of-a-kind décor set the tone for what’s to follow.

Even though they don’t have an extensive menu, they offer various options to satisfy every palate.

We tried a variety of items on the menu and were equally satisfied with them. I enjoyed the escargots, wedge salad, beef Wellington, and steak so much.

Becerra's on 6th Bistro Beef Wellington

Another great touch was the handmade bread with three different types of butter.

Fresh coffee and beignets were a special dessert to complement all of the flavors from our dinner.

I highly recommend this restaurant for fine dining in Redmond; it’s lovely to see such a charming establishment survive and prosper during the pandemic.

Clearly, the wonderful owners are doing something right. It was a joy to eat there. Give it a go!

Baldy’s BBQ

343 NW 6th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15419232271

Baldy’s Barbeque should be your go-to restaurant when you want to dine out and enjoy some delicious barbecue. A glance at their menu will reveal that their meats are smoked traditionally with a family touch.

You’ll certainly appreciate the flavorful barbecue while socializing with your loved ones over great food, whether you prefer ribs, chicken, or brisket.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Memphis-style coleslaw on top, and my friend ordered the steak on garlic bread. Both meats were flavorful and “melt in your mouth” delicious.

Baldy's BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

We both had a side of mac & cheese, which was tasty but not spectacular. Our server was excellent and always on top of things. He came by several times to replenish our drinks, which is a must for me.

They have a small parking lot. However, most people park on the street. If you’re craving some delicious BBQ, and searching for the best restaurants in Redmond Oregon, this is the place to go!

Christie’s Kitchen

614 NW Cedar Ave., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15419238878

Do you want to have a traditional café experience? Visit Christie’s Kitchen on Cedar Avenue. Christie’s Kitchen, a favorite and conventional Redmond diner, has a plethora of attractive menu options.

You can get delicious sandwiches such as a Reuben, French dip, grilled ham and cheese, or a choice of burgers.

I had a sandwich with grilled ham and cheese with a bowl of basil tomato soup with veggie bits. Large, filling, and wonderful. I was hesitant because they had French dips, but my sandwich was excellent.

My friend ordered a Reuben and raved about it. He carried half of it with him to go because it was so big and piled high.

Christie's Kitchen Reuben

Their sandwiches come with various sides, including fries, cottage cheese, and coleslaw.

Clearly, the owners take pride in their job, as one of them took the time to talk to us at our table even though we were strangers.

We felt very welcome and comfortable choosing this as a nearby brunch spot amongst the restaurants in Redmond Oregon. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a home-cooking restaurant for breakfast and lunch!

Yi’s Wok

615 NW 6th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15413161298

When it comes to a simple, no-fuss Chinese meal, Yi’s Wok is the answer. You can simply browse their Facebook page to see their menu since they don’t have a website.

You can experience flavorful versions of chicken, beef, pork, and seafood meals such as orange chicken, Mongolian beef, Peking pork, Kung Pao shrimp, and more, divided into distinct styles such as Szechuan and Mongolian.

This is one of the restaurants in Redmond Oregon with the best food at a low price, with a wide variety and generous amounts. The Mongolian Beef was delicious; however, it was a tad heavy on onions.

Yi's Wok Mongolian Beef

The Mandarin Chicken and Mu Shu Pork were also really delicious! My only concern is that the fried rice could have used a little more flavor, but it was still rather tasty.

I’ll definitely eat here the next time I’m in the mood for Chinese food in Redmond and I strongly recommend you try them out for yourself.

Cibelli’s Pizza

885 SW Rimrock Way #102, Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15419237388

Cibelli’s Pizza offers a substantial selection of pizzas for pizza lovers. If you’re an individual, the small is your best bet; if you’re a group of two to three, the medium is perfect, and if you’re six to eight, then the giant will work.

When you construct your pizza, you can choose between a Greek or BBQ chicken pizza and personalize the dough to be filled or with garlic butter.

You may also select up to 25 toppings ranging from anchovies and pepperoni to pepperoncini and pesto.

We got cheese sticks and “house-made cheesy bread,” which you must order. We also ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza. Everything was wonderful.

Cibelli's Pizza Cheesy Bread

The sauce was delicious, the cheese was creamy, and the pepperoni had just the proper spiciness.

As someone who has tried pizza from all over, I must say that this place ranks high on my list. Cibelli’s is a must-try for pizza and one of the best pizza restaurants in Redmond Oregon.

Hub City Bar & Grill

2498 US-97, Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15419237101

Despite being just off the highway, Hub City Bar & Grill is surprisingly close to Redmond.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stop on your way home, this is the place to go. Everything on their menu is created fresh every day and cooked to perfection.

We got burger sliders as an appetizer and then a full menu sandwich, Turkey Avocado Bacon, toasted lightly. Both were expertly prepared and tasted amazing.

Hub City Bar & Grill Burger Sliders

Even though the fries were frozen, they were nicely fried and served hot. The sliders were $4 on the happy hour menu and came with homemade coleslaw, which was a great touch.

Their sandwiches come with a side of fries, tots, or coleslaw. It was pretty meaty and well worth the price.

I recommend this location to anyone looking for a secure and caring environment to enjoy their favorite beverage, cuisine, and music.

Country Nook Cafe

325 NW 5th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15419232213

Country Nook Cafe is classified as a cozy diner with a down-to-earth ambiance; you’ll feel right at home the moment you step in.

Comfort food can be found at any time by presenting a variety of traditional morning nibbles and traditional lunch dishes.

Breakfast options include eggs benedict, French toast, and a delectable cinnamon bun topped with cream cheese.

Lunch options include country-fried steak, battered fish, and a BLT. And don’t worry if you’re seeking healthy options — the salads are abundant.

The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful, which was ideal for us because we had a lot to talk about and didn’t have to yell over loud music or a large crowd.

The serving size was excellent for the price, which was extremely reasonable.

Their menu is set out differently. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all rolled into one. I thought it was strange at first until they explained it to me.

You select the main item, such as a steak, hamburger, or bacon, and then it instructs you to select a few sides to accompany it, such as fries, mashed potatoes, eggs, fruit, bread, and so on.

So it gives you the option of choosing only breakfast or supper, but with this setup, you may mix a dinner item with a breakfast item, such as steak and pancakes.

My pick was the chicken fried steak with eggs over easy and hash browns with gravy. It was delicious and savory, a hand-breaded sirloin patty in a generous size.

Country Nook Cafe Chicken Fried Steak

When it was served, it was at the perfect temperature, and the hash browns were golden brown to perfection.

So it’s a unique and intriguing method to order your meals in this restaurant. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen amongst the restaurants in Redmond Oregon. I strongly recommend this spot!

One Street Down Cafe

124 SW 7th St., Redmond, OR 97756, United States // +15416472341

One Street Down Cafe, located inside a charming cottage, is a welcoming dining facility that serves American all-day breakfast and lunch.

You can eat delicious breakfast foods which change daily, like eggs benedict, paired with home fries, and French toast made with thick slices of cinnamon bread that are then fried and grilled.

My goat cheese omelet was delicious and had the right combination of vegetables, goat cheese, and bacon. My friend loved the fresh vegetable omelet with mushrooms and zucchini for some variety.
