This place is beyond fantastic; some of the freshest pasta I have had since being in Italy. The food at Bruno’s is renowned for being outstanding, and the menu did not disappoint.
I began with the bruschetta, a delicious dish served on toasted bread featuring fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic. I enjoyed each bite because the flavors were so vivid and very fresh.
The waiter advised that we add cheese to Pane All’Agio, an olive oil-based pizza we shared. We did, and it was beautiful. I also liked the extra olives.
My friend ordered Gnocchi Di Ricotta. That’s his go-to dish at an Italian restaurant; he claimed it’s the best he’s ever tasted. I gave it a shot and agreed. Rather than being added to the sauce, the spinach is incorporated into the gnocchi. Marvelous!
My other friend ordered the Fettuccine Con Pollo. She stated it was the second-best she’d ever had, but with prejudice. Her homemade fettuccine was in the first place.
I ordered Seafood Ravioli with lobster bisque, which was delicious. Top-notch.
All of the dishes were finished with a fresh spring of sage, parsley, rosemary, and basil, respectively.
Of course, I couldn’t leave Bruno’s without trying their famous cannolis, and I’m so glad I did. The crisp, flaky shells were filled with a creamy, sweet ricotta filling, and the chocolate chips and powdered sugar added the perfect finishing touch.
Our waiter was another highlight that made this a memorable eating experience.
He was attentive and helpful, and his personal touch made us feel unique. His knowledge and skill made him an excellent waiter.
