We had a divine time in Sedona, Arizona. We enjoyed the natural beauty, spiritual energy, and captivating charm. Known for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant energy, Sedona offers a unique experience that leaves us breathless. 

As people that are always seeking adventures, we enjoyed the range of recreational activities. 

Outdoor enthusiasts can hike the scenic trails that wind through the red rock formations, bike along rugged paths, or embark on Jeep tours that navigate the rough terrain. For a more leisurely experience, visitors can take a scenic drive through the stunning Oak Creek Canyon or enjoy a peaceful picnic by the creek.

Nestled amid Sedona’s breathtaking red rock formations, Hideaway House offers a dining experience that combines picturesque views with delectable cuisine. 

When we entered the restaurant, the charming rustic exterior and cozy ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable meal.  

For us, the highlight was the stunning outdoor patio, providing panoramic vistas of Sedona’s majestic landscapes. It was an unforgettable experience with the blankets to keep us warm on the porch! 

We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of mouthwatering dishes that cater to various tastes.  We had an excellent pizza with an addition of ham, pepperoni, garlic, and mushrooms. The chicken parmigiana was good, and the veggies were the best part for my friends. 

We also had their Bourbon peach smash, which was pretty good, along with their cheesy garlic bread, which was excellent. For me, the garlic bread was the highlight of the meal and a must-have. 

From wood-fired pizzas with perfectly crisp crusts to flavorful pasta and fresh seafood, each item is prepared with attention to detail and a focus on quality ingredients. 

Whether you visit for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner, Hideaway House’s enchanting setting and delightful flavors make it a must-visit restaurant in Sedona.

The Hudson

After having such an amazing time at the Hudson, I consider this place stands as a beacon of culinary excellence. 

We had a refined dining experience with its chic yet inviting atmosphere. This place represents classic American cuisine with innovative and modern twists. 

You will have a chance to be surrounded by attentive and knowledgeable staff, ensuring a memorable visit.

The menu at The Hudson boasts a tantalizing array of dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients. 

We ordered succulent scallops,  perfectly cooked steak, and expertly prepared seafood, and we enjoyed every bite as a testament to the chef’s skill and creativity.

One of my favorites is Buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese. It was absolutely heaven for my mouth.  

And something that is a restaurant standout is the bruschettas. There were seven different bruschettas on the starter menu. My favorite was goat cheese.

The Hudson’s dedication to culinary mastery, combined with its elegant ambiance, makes it a standout choice for memorable fine dining in Sedona.

SaltRock Southwest Kitchen

We heard so many things about SaltRock Southwest Kitchen, but we didn’t expect that this culinary treasure would exceed our expectations.  

SaltRock Kitchen in Sedona is a culinary gem that embodies the spirit of Southwestern cuisine while offering a delightful dining experience. 

From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the restaurant’s breathtaking Red Rock views.

This place will be a perfect match for all lovers of Southwestern cuisine. The menu at SaltRock Kitchen showcases a fusion of Southwestern cuisine and contemporary flavors, delivering a memorable culinary journey. 

We had great cocktails, and they were quite strong. 

We had Blue Crab Empanada for appetizers; it was so interesting and very good! 

For our entree, we had Seared Scallops with risotto and carrot mole. They were cooked perfectly and not overcooked, which is my biggest fear when it comes to scallops.

The Tiger Shrimp Tamale was outstanding. Imagine an open-faced polenta tamale topped with crispy kale, chimichurri oil, and plump tiger shrimp.

Pork tostadas and Pork Osso Bucco are also highly recommended. Pork tostadas consisted of crispy tortillas topped with seasoned and cooked pork, along with an array of flavorful ingredients. It was really amazing. 

We had a few fresh ingredients for dinner, so we ordered salads.  We had vegetarian selections – Butternut Squash Relleno and Sedona Cobb Salad.

Oaxaca Restaurant

Oaxaca Restaurant embodies the vibrant flavors and cultural heritage of the renowned Oaxaca region in Mexico. 

In the heart of this lovely restaurant, we had a culinary experience that tantalized the taste buds and transported diners to the enchanting streets of Oaxaca.

As you step into Oaxaca Restaurant in Sedona, you are greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that reflects the authentic spirit of the region. 

We especially loved the rustic decor adorned with colorful murals and traditional crafts, creating an atmosphere that celebrates Oaxaca’s rich cultural heritage.

The menu at Oaxaca Restaurant showcases the diversity and depth of Oaxacan cuisine, with a range of traditional dishes that pay homage to the region’s culinary traditions.  This Sedona restaurant is definitely a place to visit if you are craving Mexican Food.

We shared enchiladas, and they were delicious. We also had a pitcher of sangria, which was very rich and flavorful. The chips and salsa were light, crispy, and had the perfect amount of salt. 

But my favorite thing is the shredded beef tacos.  

From the moment you take your first bite, it becomes evident that the chefs here are passionate about preserving the authenticity of their dishes.

We really hope that we will have many other first bites in this place because this Sedona restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking to savor the rich and diverse flavors of Oaxaca.

Sound Bites Grill, Sedona AZ

Sound Bites Grill became one of our favorite dining destinations in Sedona.

It really satisfied our taste buds but also offered an unforgettable live music experience. And this is the feature that truly sets Sound Bites Grill apart; the fun live music experience that this place offers. 

Throughout the week, talented musicians take to the stage, enchanting diners with their performances. 

In addition to the delicious food and live music, Sound Bites Grill boasts a well-curated selection of wines, craft beers, and cocktails. 

Whether you’re a connoisseur or simply looking to enjoy a refreshing beverage, the bar offers a variety of options to complement your meal and enhance your evening.

We had ribs, garlic chicken, southwest Caesar salad, green beans, and mac and cheese. I liked the garlic chicken. It was a savory and aromatic dish that featured tender pieces of chicken cooked with generous amounts of garlic.

Located in a vibrant setting with a rustic charm,  this Sedona restaurant offers a unique experience that combines exceptional cuisine, Western hospitality, and a touch of history.

We were transported to a bygone era, immersing ourselves in the rich traditions of the American West. 

The interior is adorned with Western decor, including vintage photographs, cowboy memorabilia, and traditional Native American artwork, creating an authentic and inviting atmosphere.

Influenced by the historical moments this place has, we dove into flavors of the Southwest and paid homage to cowboy culinary traditions. 

One of the standout offerings at the Cowboy Club Grille & Spirits is their signature dish, the Cactus Fries. These crispy, hand-breaded cactus strips provide a unique and flavorful twist that perfectly complements the western theme. Together with the Cactus Fries, I tried the margarita with the added prickly pear.

Also, I had a chicken sandwich which was really good and bigger than the bun. 

On a second visit, we wanted to try something different, so we ordered elk chops and bison pot roast. 

Additionally, the menu offers a variety of other regional favorites, including mesquite-grilled chicken, fresh seafood, and vegetarian options, catering to a wide range of palates.

Together with the meal, we enjoyed a wide selection of spirits, including an extensive collection of whiskeys, bourbons, and tequilas. 

Believe me; you will do yourself a favor if you visit this gem amongst the Downtown Sedona restaurants. It is a food treasure. 

Creekside American Bistro

We had a delightful dining experience in a picturesque setting at Creekside American Bistro in Sedona. 

This charming bistro gives love with warm hospitality, a beautiful ambiance, and delectable American cuisine.  It creates a truly memorable culinary journey.

The outdoor seating area, overlooking the babbling creek, provides a serene backdrop for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The interior of the bistro exudes a cozy and inviting ambiance, with tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating arrangements that add to the overall charm.

Their menu boasts an array of enticing dishes such as perfectly grilled steaks, fresh seafood, vibrant salads, and creative sandwiches. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available, ensuring that everyone can find something to suit their dietary preferences.

Parmesan-crusted chicken breast over mashed potatoes with asparagus and a magical cheese sauce was something out of this world. 

The Roma Tomato Bisque is phenomenal. It was a luscious and comforting soup that showcased the rich, sweet flavors of ripe Roma tomatoes. 

Together with the soup, we had three main courses: shrimp and grits, braised short ribs, and lamb shank adobo. 

Creekside American Bistro is a delightful dining destination that combines exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and a captivating ambiance. 

This bistro provides a truly memorable experience for those seeking a taste of American cuisine in a charming setting. Definitely one of the best Downtown Sedona restaurants.
