Best Brunch In Key West

The Breakfast Club, Too

610 Greene St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13054402898

A relaxed hangout with eleven different Bloody Mary varieties, creative takes on breakfast, lunchtime staples, the breakfast club and one of the best brunch in Key West.

You can have an all-day brunch in Key West every day of the week, along with the finest brunch libations, thanks to the breakfast club, too.

Offering the best bloody marys in Key West and serving breakfast and lunch all day, this place is open from 8 am to 2 pm daily.

You can rely on their meals to keep you satisfied and fuel you for your day of adventure in paradise!

At the breakfast club, too, they say that breakfast is, after all, the most significant meal of the day, they say.

Find out about several benny varieties, rösti (a bed of home-fried potatoes on a hot cast iron skillet), and other Southern staples that will have your mouth watering in no time.

Choose the “lobster and grits” for the ultimate in comfort cuisine.

It’s a generous serving of creamy grits, served with Maine lobster that has been butter poached, handmade pico de gallo, and chorizo oil.

Try the Veggie Bene, which consists of two poached eggs on an English muffin with fresh spinach and avocado with a pesto hollandaise. For seafood lovers, sample the Lobster Bene, made of a warm buttered Maine lobster and poached eggs on an English muffin smothered in traditional hollandaise sauce.  These are two of the tastiest Benes you’ll ever have.

The Breakfast Club, Too Poached Eggs

However, if you enjoy such skillets, I suggest the Veggie Rosti for a nutritious brunch. It features grilled tomatoes on top and is topped with sauteed spinach, mushrooms, roasted peppers, and onions.

It may be capitalized funny, but the breakfast club, too will give you the best brunch in Key West.

Banana Cafe

1215 Duval St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052947227

Another wonderful spot for a Key West brunch is Banana Cafe, which is just north of Duval Street and close to both the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and the Southernmost Point of the Continental US.

When you’re in town, you should definitely try brunch at this French bistro, which is just mouthwatering.

At this beautiful café, choose a window seat or stroll to the balcony on the second floor for breakfast with a view.

Along Duval Street, you may observe the policemen on horses and riding scooters, bikes, and other vehicles.

It can be difficult to decide among the many different types of sweet and savory crepes on their menu that are typical French breakfast dishes.

The heartier crepes come in a variety of flavors, from a straightforward egg, ham, and Swiss to their La Ratatouille, which includes eggplant, zucchini, peppers, onions, and tomatoes, topped with a fried egg.

The sweet varieties impress with straightforward flavor mashups like banana, sugar, and rum or the all-time favorite Key lime sauce and whipped cream.

Banana Cafe Banana Crepe

One of their savory crepes, especially the La Mahi Piccata and the L’Americaine, is what I really enjoy.

While mimosas are available, they do not have a liquor license, so Bloody Marys are not available. Besides this, they offer the best brunch in Key West.

For the day’s fresh quiche specials and menu, check the chalkboard.

In its cozy setting, this delightful cafe serves traditional French fare like airy croissants and delicious crunchies besides the crepes.

Just beware that there is often a line at this tiny bistro because it is so popular.

And by the way, the area is full of exciting attractions.

Bistro 245

512 Front St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052963124

A Key West Sunday brunch at Bistro 245 from 10 am to 2 pm is a marathon, not a sprint. And it is a lovely one, full of options and rich with flavors.

If you don’t bring an empty stomach here, don’t even bother going.

Also, do not expect to ever see your drink get below half full in this place since the attentive staff delivers you your first Mimosa when you first arrive.

Bistro 245 at Opal Key Resort & Marina offers impressive views.

There is no rush here, and there are two entire rooms in the hall dedicated to offering what has to be the best selection of cuisine on the island.

Some of the brunch highlights here are Caribbean French Toast, made with Coconut Cinnamon Dipped Brioche and stuffed with Bananas, Strawberries, Strawberry Jam, and pure Vermont Maple Syrup. Try the Egg White Omelet with Broccolini, Onions, Cheddar Cheese, Basil, Crispy Potatoes, Oven Dried Tomatoes, and toast of your choice.

Buttermilk Pancakes that are fresh off the griddle, with pure Vermont Maple Syrup, or their Fresh Tropical Fruit that’s a mixture of Cantaloupe, Golden Pineapple, Banana, Watermelon, Blueberries, Strawberries, Strawberry Yogurt, and Blueberry Muffin, are sure to please.

If you want to eat a more lightweight and healthier variant, get the steel-cut Cinnamon Oatmeal that is topped with banana, pecans, and honey.

Be mindful of every tasty bite and enjoy whatever you choose to eat, but remember to take your time and save space for dessert on the best brunch in Key West.

Blue Heaven

729 Thomas Ln., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052968666

If you are looking for the best brunch in Key West, look no further! Suanne and Richard, two free spirits, opened Blue Heaven, which has now established itself as a popular tourist spot in Key West.

Nearly as well-known as the foods are the chickens and cats that roam the premises.

A leopard-spotted mannequin, a rooster graveyard, brightly colored coconuts, and trap floats are just a few examples of the improvised art that can be found at Blue Heaven, which offers al fresco eating in the Key West style.

A sail strung between trees also provides shade.

However, don’t be fooled by the colorful décor; the food is treated seriously here.

American, Caribbean, and vegetarian cuisine are served in this Key West restaurant, along with indoor and outdoor seating, live music, and other amenities.

Their menu hardly ever changes (not even the specials, other than to offer seasonal stone crab claws).

So even if the reserve options on the notable wine list change, dishes like pan-sautéed yellowtail with citrus Beurre blanc, Jamaican jerk chicken, and Caribbean shrimp deglazed with a Red Stripe will still be available to you the next time you visit.

Heavenly indeed, and with its piles of cooked meringue topping, it may be the location of the island’s best key lime pie.

Unsurprisingly, Blue Heaven is at the top of one of my lists once more, and after dining there, it’s straightforward to understand why.

The Key West Lighthouse and The Hemingway Home and Museum are both close to Blue Heaven, which is situated just off Thomas Street in the Bahama Village district.

I adore Blue Heaven’s brunch because they have so many mouthwatering selections, including incredible omelets, benedicts, and pancakes.

In addition to all of that, there are seven different Mimosa flavors to pick from!

The only challenge with Sunday brunch here at Blue Heaven is choosing from the amazing alternatives.

Sarabeth’s Key West

530 Simonton St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052938181

A charming little eatery providing delectable cuisine and beverages can be found at the intersection of Southard and Simonton Streets.

It’s one of those quaint restaurants that you want to get back to over and over again.

The restaurant’s old windows and ceilings give it flair.

The best brunch in Key West you can find at Sarabeth’s Key West, and it can be summed up in one word: delicious.

You can come for brunch here from 8 am until 2 pm and choose where you want to enjoy it between their indoor and outdoor seating options.

While not technically a meal, mimosas are in a class of their own and are made with the same care as some of the best handmade drinks.

Additionally, the French toast and pancake options are the best, as are any of the eggs benedict specials.

Expect a wait because people line up early to get the best brunch in Key West.

The menu at this James Beard Award winner includes dishes like pumpkin waffles coupled with sour cream, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and honey, as well as lemon ricotta pancakes topped with strawberries and wheat berries.

More savory dishes can be found on their Key West shrimp and bacon omelet with scallions, herbs, and smoked mozzarella.

Try their handmade oatmeal with sweet cream and fruit for something altogether different.

Accompany the tasty bites with their Four Flowers Juice, which combines fresh pineapple, banana, orange, and pomegranate juices.

Sarabeth's Key West Muffin with Marmalade

No breakfast around us would be complete without some of Sarabeth’s famous marmalade on top of a warm muffin. Enjoy!

La Crêperie French Café Key West

300 Petronia St. #1, Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13054402240

Consider dropping by La Creperie French Cafe for a delectable lunch before spending the day at Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Beach or the Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park.

I feel like every guest appreciates that La Creperie French Cafe offers both a French breakfast and an American breakfast selection on their menu in addition to serving galettes, croques, and omelets.

This place is truly special since it’s very organic-oriented.

Here they say that organic life exists, and they take it seriously with respect toward nature and care for guests’ health.

They produce food from scratch that is fresh, as much as possible organic, natural, and non-GMO, since they believe that life is nature rather than marketing.

They have several selections that are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free; just ask!

By far, the French breakfast is my favorite item to order here and I consider it as the best brunch in Key West.

Rillettes, salami, bread, jam, croissant, and butter are all part of it.

To top off the delectable brunch, choose between their Crêpes and Galette Batter, which is entirely organic, freshly made, and complete with the highest quality ingredients.

Harpoon Harry’s

832 Caroline St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052948744

This traditional greasy spoon is near the old seaport and only a short morning bike ride from Duval Street.

The restaurant, a 50s-style diner, has a unique, colorful interior and plenty of counter space.

Traditional comfort cuisine like the Country Po-Boy, which is country fried steak topped with two eggs any style and slathered in delicious sausage gravy, is offered all day on the morning menu.

The menu is complete with omelets, biscuits, pancakes, and corned beef hash.

Try their Benedicts, which come in both standard and lobster, or crab cake variations are another option.

Along with French toast, pancakes, bagels, and other delicious foods, there are a number of fascinating sandwich possibilities.

Harpoon Harry's Bagels

Even the worst hangovers will be gone, thanks to their legendary Spicy Bloody Harry.

It’s a favorite among both locals and tourists since it offers generous portions at fair pricing.

Expect a delay since the weekends are jam-packed.

Two Friends Patio Restaurant

512 Front St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13052963124

Two Friends Patio is a well-known brunch restaurant in Key West that’s well-known among locals who credit the restaurant’s sustained success to its wonderful ambiance, unique beverages, and top-notch Key West breakfasts.

All of your favorite egg dishes, as well as some inventive omelets and savory quiches, are featured on the breakfast menu, which is served from 8:00 am to noon.

You can go here for brunch every day starting at 8 am and enjoy your meal at one of the last remaining establishments of Old Key West for a relaxed outdoor dining experience!

If you have a sweet tooth, they also provide desserts like pancakes, waffles, and French toast in all its varieties.

A range of pancakes and waffles are also available to satiate your sweet craving.

If you just want something lighter, you can have a bagel, muffin, fruit bowl, or croissant.

Two Friends Patio Restaurant Croissant

Please don’t pass up the chance to taste the Key Lime Stuffed French Toast.

It is a wonderful, handmade key lime pie filling sandwiched between French toast and topped with strawberries and strawberry puree. It truly makes a super delicious breakfast dessert.

La Grignote

1211 Duval St., Key West, FL 33040, United States // +13059165445

A specialty French-style spot called La Grignote opened in 2016 and offers more formal meals in addition to freshly made pastries every day.
