Mont-Tremblant is only 80 miles north of Montreal, but it seems worlds away at first glance. Yet, this winter oasis is a beckoning destination carved out of the Laurentian mountain range, where cobblestone streets are lined with buildings that mimic Montreal’s Old City with vibrant red, marigold facades, and teal roofs.

Le Vieux Four is a must-visit. We were fortunate to arrive at a non-peak hour and got a fantastic waiter.
The atmosphere was wonderful, and if you sit inside, you can watch the chefs throw the pizzas into the brick oven while you eat. All of our meals were wonderful and satisfying without being overly thick or oily.
The dish arrived boiling hot, smelling and looking delicious. My friend had the Linguine Carbonara, which was topped with a thick, creamy sauce, wonderfully cooked linquine, and a large quantity of bacon.
We shared a large salade Panache with a mild creamy balsamic vinaigrette. Next, I ordered the Prosciutto La Roquette pizza, which came with a side container of fresh arugula and a substantial piece of large shaved parmesan, which I topped the pizza with shortly before serving.
It also came with a standard balsamic vinaigrette, which I sprinkled lightly over the arugula on the pizza. We began the meal with a toast to the chef’s inventions, murmuring with excitement at every bite.
Dining in is the ideal way to experience the fantastic staff and those pizzas hot out of the wood oven with a powerful glass of red wine, but takeout also works well in this place. If you’re having pizza In Tremblant, I definitely recommend stopping here for a tasty and enjoyable visit, especially on a Sunday!
