The 8 Best Bars In Oceanside CA

Haunted Head is one of the coziest bars in Oceanside CA, with exposed brick, wood paneling, and unique pirate decor, with happy hour crowds and plenty of costumed parties.
We went to this bar with a few friends and had a great experience. The drinks were really strong, but that’s what I wanted. The place was very packed, though, so if you’re not a fan of crowded places, this might not be the best for you. But for us, it was perfect.
They often organize exciting events, such as Parties on Saturday and Monday Nights, an October 29th and 31st Costume Contest with a $100 grand prize.
They have great drink specials and fabulous food bites available. Among all the cocktails they have, I chose a simple option of Vodka Tonic with lime, and I was very satisfied. The drink was refreshing and strong, and at the same time, was not pricey at all. Strongly recommend this Oceanside bar!

For good drinks and pub food par excellence, One More That’s It Pub is one of the best bars in Oceanside CA. This restaurant’s fully stocked bar is a perk for patrons who enjoy wine, beer, cocktails, and other beverages with their meals.
Don’t miss out on the great happy hour deals at One More That’s It Pub. This Oceanside bar is a suitable restaurant for both large and small groups. Warm weather brings out One More Thats It Pub’s highly coveted patio seating.
Inside, the bar is fully equipped with quality liquor, and my first choice was the classic Manhattan. After that, I took the Old-fashioned and some bites to pair with our drinks. We had a lot of fun on the pool tables and listening to the jukebox near us. It’s easy to see why this Oceanside bar makes our top eight list.

As a big fan of rooftop bars, I couldn’t resist visiting The Rooftop Bar in Oceanside, CA. You can enjoy breathtaking views and amazing sunsets, experience lounge seating, have cocktails on a vibrant pool deck, order a bottle of champagne, craft cocktails, and small bites.
This Rooftop Bar and Pool is located on the sixth floor of Mission Pacific Hotel and maintains a walk-in policy; reservations are only required for bigger groups.
In the evenings, you can enjoy the sounds of live DJs and vibrant music as you marvel at Oceanside’s coastline with your best friends or partner.
Their menu is pretty extensive, and I will try to single out some of my favorite items. I’d recommend the crispy potato bites, watermelon salad, and chicken sandwich for food. The portions are not huge, but they are completely large enough even for sharing.
We also ordered a bottle of champagne which was perfectly chilled, well-presented and served with fruit on the side. Of course, I couldn’t resist ordering the oysters to pair with our champagne, and I took the perfect “insta” picture.
However, seeing the sunset from this place is beautiful. I would definitely recommend trying out this Oceanside rooftop bar.

Frankie’s is fun, classy and one of my favorite cocktail bars in downtown Oceanside. They have tons of creative signature drinks to choose from and strong customer service. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us great tips and recommendations.
They have a bit of that old Hollywood glamor to the place, with phenomenal cocktails to boot. The Southern Moon (bourbon, apricot, brown butter, rosemary, and lemon) is something you seriously have to try.
My other favorites are the Night Cap, with vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, orgeat cinnamon, allspice, and espresso salt, and the Match Point, also with vodka, matcha, banana, lavender, rose, and lemon.
The Boston Harbor with smoked rum, Earl Grey infused falernum, and angostura and the Silent Radio with mezcal, acerola, coconut, falernum, and lemon, are a little bit stronger than the others, but are also on my list.
Really the entire cocktail menu is worth a look. Frankie’s is a fantastic Oceanside bar to start or end an evening out, whether you’re grabbing a cocktail solo after work, for a date, or out with friends.
301 Pier View Wy, Oceanside, CA 92054, United States // +14422662011
This is a chill and cozy bar with more than 35 beers on tap, live music, two pool tables, happy hours, five flat TV screens for all the sports you want to see and an ideal place for bigger groups and gatherings.
They have the best dynamic-duo bartenders in the world! We had so much fun, with complimentary drinks and much more.
I had the Julian Cider and Ashland, among a few other drinks, and honestly, they took the stress out of the crazy weekend I had. The crowd was welcoming, and everybody was friendly and communicative with each other.
Besides one of the best-crafted beers in town, they also offer some bites and snacks from their kitchen bar, such as burgers, brisket sandwiches, etc. Overall everything is great, and I will be coming back soon to this Oceanside bar!

Tony’s is a unique Oceanside bar with food and draft beers that draws a crowd daily at this bustling sports pub with occasional live music. They have a very friendly staff and a great location for beer, wine, and cocktails.
Their list of beer is huge, as well as their signature cocktails menu. They serve breakfast all day and a large menu that will surely have something for everyone.
You have to try their chicken wings served with celery, carrots, and ranch with Buffalo, BBQ, or teriyaki sauces. Also, their sliders are great, with a choice of one meat or three, certified Angus beef, grilled chicken breast, BBQ pulled pork, sweet chili chicken breast, or crispy Buffalo tenders, LTO, and pickle, served with their homemade fries. They are some of the best in town and match perfectly with a glass of beer.
The Delirium Nocturnum, which is a strong Belgian dark ale, is a must-try there, too.
Also, there are plenty of large TV’s to watch whatever sport you like with your friends. Overall, a fun vibe with a sports bar atmosphere suitable for everyone.

This is one casual, contemporary sports bar featuring pool tables, darts, pub grub, and even a video jukebox. The beer selection is extensive almost everywhere in this county, but if beer is not your style, they mix interesting and unique drinks.
Bartenders are super friendly, and prices are fairly low! The food is delicious for a quick bite! Try the O’side dirt burger and the hurricane fries; they are absolutely delicious, and they have the best sweet chili sauce I’ve ever had in my life!
I love this place, especially when they have live music. The atmosphere is hyped, and everyone is talking to each other, dancing, laughing and drinking. The coolest part was the games that were outside, jumbo Jenga, beer pong, and shooting baskets. Very original and unique Oceanside bar!

Larry’s is one of my favorite beach bars in Oceanside CA. I love the laid-back atmosphere, the great staff, the summer breeze, and the smell of the sea, holding a cocktail in my hand and enjoying a good meal.
They also organize live music and entertaining karaoke nights. Everyone is chill, singing and having fun all day long.
They have comfortable bar seats, friendly people, strong drinks, happy hour, and good food. I had the Cowboy Burger with a hand-patted 1/3 pound char-broiled burger, topped with pepper jack cheese, smoked bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. My friend had the classic Cobb Salad with mixed greens, diced bacon, boiled egg, tomato, bleu cheese crumbles, and avocado.
I really enjoyed my burger; the meat was tender, the bun was soft, and the cheese was melting.
Beach bars always associate with cold and refreshing Mojitos. I can’t imagine a better combination of lime, mint, soda, and rum to refresh you on a hot summer day.
While I had a couple of Mojitos, my friend chose the Bloody Mary, which I find too heavy for day drinking, but however, we all had a great time together and definitely will come back soon!
