We ordered the build-your-own and sampled the grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and crab cakes.
These were all served with an enormous amount of fries, two hush puppies, and a small amount of coleslaw. The slaw was mediocre, from my perspective, but the fries and hush puppies were excellent.
There are two crab cakes per order, and they are a pretty good size. There’s a little kick to them, and they’re not at all dry.
We had two skewers of grilled shrimp, which were perfectly seasoned. There are many flavors, yet they are not overpowering.
My favorite part of the meal was the fried shrimp. Despite being lightly breaded, they are fairly large and fried perfectly. They are served with the “make it yourself” cocktail sauce, which is delicious.
To make the cocktail sauce, they give you fresh horseradish and ketchup. I loved this because I like my cocktail sauce hot, and it allowed me to set my heat level.
