This rooftop bar features a collection of signature cocktails, local and premium beers, a selection of fine wines, and a small bite menu to indulge in while admiring the stunning views of downtown D.C. 

Light Salad At The Ellipse Bar

We tried interesting gin-based cocktails such as Sunset Views, MR. COOL, which has a refreshing cucumber taste, and Mermaid Mule, which is mixed with vodka.

The burger and the fresh citrus and cucumber salad were beyond our expectations. The bar has fast service and an incredibly warm staff.

Overall, the menu was not very deep, but everything was fresh and tasty. The Ellipse Rooftop Bar is definitely worth visiting.

If you are in the mood for one of the best classic and seasonal cocktails you should definitely visit The Rooftop DC in the center of downtown’s vibrant Mt. Vernon Triangle neighborhood. Reservations are not required, but you should follow the strict dress code.

Casual sophisticated wear is preferred. You definitely shouldn’t miss the happy hour from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesdays to Saturdays and 1 pm to 7 pm on Sundays.

Relax with 50% off all drinks and cocktails from the menu. You should try the guacamole from the bites menu, perfectly paired with a glass of sparkling wine.

The Top of the Yard Rooftop Bar & Bites has a beautiful and panoramic view of the city. It is situated above the Hampton Inn in Washington, DC, at Navy Yard, and offers a direct view of the National Park, Capitol Riverfront, and many other monuments.

They offer a simple menu with solid standards, but the hot dog, the pizza, and the burgers were delicious. The drinks were also nice and refreshing, and you must try the classic Margarita. The prices are acceptable, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick despite the fact there were many other orders.

If you decide to visit this amazing rooftop, make sure to have a reservation if you want to experience the wonderful view this place offers.

One of the best views of Georgetown and one of the neighborhood’s few rooftop bars that provide a 360-degree view is from the luxurious Graham Georgetown hotel. Once you visit this charming rooftop, you will wish to come again.

That is not only because of the great view of the old town but the ambiance of the wooden decking, the comfy couches, the glass railings, and everything else about this gem amongst the rooftop bars in Washington DC.

The Rooftop at the Graham  Beef Tenderloin

The menu is unusual and unique, and we tried almost all of their signature cocktails. Believe me; it was worth it! The Peach Paradise is one of our favorites.

Spicy tuna lettuce wraps, beef tenderloin, and pesto & tomato flatbread are also available on the snack menu. If you want a getaway from the city crowd, this DC rooftop is ideal for brunch or dining, where you can enjoy the calm and relaxed lounge atmosphere.

Hush Rooftop Bar

Cocktails, refreshing beers, bold wines, swimming in the open-air pool… You can find all of this in the Hush Rooftop Bar, located in the Viceroy hotel in DC. It’s one of the most chilled out rooftop bars in Washington DC.

This bar doesn’t offer much to eat, but I found their cocktails delicious and made with perfectly chosen ingredients. The atmosphere is intimate and private, making it perfect for your first date.

We recommend placing your order on time because the service is slow. The prices are a little higher than the other restaurants in the neighborhood, so be ready to spend more than you have planned.

Located on the 11th floor and decorated in chic style makes the experience chilled and romantic. 

Jack Rose Dining Saloon

Besides the whiskey lovers, the bar also serves well-made cocktails, wine, and beer, giving you more options for drinks to pair with their excellent food. We ordered some bites like Chicken Skins and their Blistered Shishito Peppers.

We had that paired with a Japanese whiskey, Yamazaki Single Malt. We had Orzo Summer Pasta and Chipotle Rubbed Pork Tenderloin for the main course with some good Chardonnay.

Sauf Haus Bier Hall & Garten is located in the heart of Dupont Circle and is D.C.’s largest and most authentic German Biergarten.

They believe in the power of good hospitality, good beer, good music, and good soccer to bring people together. If you are a fan of good German craft beer and snacks, this is the right place for you.

Luckily, our waiter was fluent in German, but that is less important because the food and the beer were great!

I strongly recommend this place for socializing and for a nice dinner at a DC rooftop bar!

They offer a great selection of food and beverages at affordable prices. If you are a fan of chicken, you should try roasted chicken breast, which is a real best seller there.

They offer a good dessert, too, like the lemongrass creme brulee. Overall, we had a good time at this notable DC rooftop bar; I hope you will too!

This rooftop bar offers all of the classic cocktails and a lot more from their signature cocktails, such as a Lychee Martini, Chandon Spritz, The Southwest, and Strawberry Fields.

The seasonal rooftop bar at the top of the Conrad Hotel in City Center DC is open now for Thursday through Sunday imbibing.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the red wine Sangria with fresh berries. Like the views, prices are high too.

Summit Sangria

The sangria costs $55 and Burrata salad $22. The comfortable seating and the wooden elements make the ambiance warm and perfect for dining in the evenings.

El Chucho Cusina Superior

The best Margharita and the most delicious tacos at affordable prices I have ever tried are in the Mexican rooftop, El Chucho Cusina Superior. It’s one of the best Mexican rooftop bars in Washington DC.

With simple decorations, comfortable chairs, and friendly staff, you will feel like you are eating in a Mexican neighborhood.

I will definitely come back for the burritos stuffed with Chihuahua cheese, beans, and rice with the delicious spicy topping.
